The left is pushing a narrative that conservatives are using the murder of Laken Riley by an illegal immigrant as a political point scoring stunt, despite the fact that the girl’s own family has slammed Joe Biden as “pathetic.”
A piece in The Independent headlined How the right wing politicised the murder of Georgia student Laken Riley asserts that Representative Majorie Taylor Green’s “deliberate outfit choice” at the State of The Union address “took the tragic murder of the Georgia student who went for a run and politicised it to push her brand of politics.”
The piece then goes on to argue, as if the issue of illegal immigration is not at all related, that “Almost as soon as the suspect’s immigration status became known, prominent Republicans quickly pushed anti-immigrant rhetoric and pointed fingers at the president.”
The author Kelly Rissman then complains that Donald Trump called the murderer a “monster,” and Speaker Mike Johnson called him “brutal” while pointing out he entered the country illegally.
Wow. How dare they.
The piece then goes on to argue that there is “no evidence to suggest people who migrate to the US, including those who are undocumented, commit more crimes than those born in America.”
Not really the point is it.
The point is that many Americans are now dead because of unchecked mass illegal immigration under Biden.
As we have highlighted, the stories are too voluminous to keep up with, and in many cases the perpetrators are gang members or have a criminal past.
The left is apoplectic not about the murder of Americans, but about people or “the right wing” as they call them, pointing out that the murderers in these cases are illegals.
The Independent article concludes with a bunch of quotes from other leftists saying that Laken Riley’s family should be outraged with the right wing.
The problem here is that the family, specifically Riley’s mother has blasted Biden for not even getting her daughter’s name right when he was challenged to say it after weeks of silence.
Allyson Phillips, posted on social media: “Biden does not even KNOW my child’s name – it’s pathetic! If you are going to say her name (even when forced to do so) at least say the right name!”
The grieving mother also wrote “Amen!” underneath a comment that called Biden “a disgrace of a president.”
Will the left claim that Laken Riley’s own mother is politicising her murder?
Taylor Greene was also subject to leftist ridicule and essentially called a racist neo-Nazi merely for wearing a T-shirt bearing Riley’s name.
