Leftist Media Desperate To Label Spencer Pratt ‘MAGA’ For Wanting To Clean Up LA

Reality star surges in LA mayor race by demanding clean streets, safe parks, and an end to taxpayer waste

Leftists, the media, and out-of-touch celebrities are in full meltdown mode trying to turn LA mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt into some sort of right-wing boogeyman just for campaigning on making LA habitable.

They want voters to believe his rising support signals a dangerous MAGA takeover of the city. The truth is far simpler: Pratt’s message boils down to fixing the basics that every Angelino wants – pothole-free streets, functioning services, safe neighborhoods, and an end to the endless waste of public money. As he puts it, it’s just common sense.

While the Democrat machine and Hollywood bubble dwellers lash out, Pratt keeps gaining ground by speaking directly to the anger over LA’s visible collapse.

In a pointed interview, Pratt shut down attempts to label him politically. “My party is angry Angelino!” he declared. maintaining that his focus stays local and nonpartisan.

“The position in the chair made it a political seat. It’s supposed to make the police, water and power, fire, streets without potholes. The lights on, no drug addicts in front of the parks, no drug addicts naked in front of kids school!” he urged.

Pratt added, “I’m a big Spencer Pratt Angelino person. I only represent myself, my community, Angelinos. I’m not part of any political party. I’m running a nonpartisan race.”

He drove the point home: “I’m supposed to represent all of Los Angeles, not either political party. And that’s the problem.”

The mayor’s office, he argued, has been hijacked by partisan games. “The mayor is supposed to be a nonpartisan race. That’s why there’s no letters next to anyone’s name. The mayor currently is hijacked!”

Pratt stressed that his platform transcends parties. “Because my message is common sense. Basic human quality of life. So it should be everyone. Obama should love me. The president should love me. Biden should love me. Biden’s wife should love. Everybody should love what I do, because I want kids that feel safe. Moms that feel safe. I want drug addicts to get the help they need!”

A local voter summed it up perfectly: “He’s the only one providing tangible solutions to things in LA.”

Pratt refuses to play word games on the homelessness disaster that has turned parts of the city into open-air drug markets. When asked about plans for the over 40,000 people on the streets, he cut through the euphemisms.

“Well, they’re not homeless. They’re drug addicts. Most of these people are addicted to fentanyl and meth. This isn’t Spencer making that up. There is places for all of these people to sleep in L.A. No matter what anybody tells you, we have housing and shelter for everyone that’s living on the street.”

He continued, “They are choosing to be on the streets because they want to do drugs. They don’t want rules. They don’t want to listen. They want to have animals to abuse.”

Pratt’s campaign is literally using the city’s filth – the same dystopian hellscape detailed in recent reports on LA’s homeless crisis and crumbling infrastructure. Yet instead of addressing the actual problems, critics smear him as extreme for refusing to ignore them.

When pressed on his ability to handle the city’s massive $15 billion budget, Pratt flipped the script on his critics’ experience argument. “I never had struggles… We have Mayor Bass, she spent $400 MILLION to house 1,400 people.”

He continued, “So this idea that I don’t have the experience. We live under their failed experience of managing the budget.”

Pointing to Councilwoman Raman’s role in a homeless housing project, Pratt said Bass “has been failing for four years.”

“I’m gonna bring in people that manage 50 billion a hundred billion people that know how to do this. My job is to make sure there’s no more corruption no more scamming auditing transparency.” Pratt stressed.

The attacks have only intensified as Pratt gains traction organically. He announced plans to file an ethics complaint against opponent Nithya Raman, claiming evidence she’s funding paid operations against him.

“A lot of them are planted, I just discovered and I have evidence that Councilman Raman has actually been paying for most of these videos about me. I’ll obviously give you the evidence and you see we’re going to file an ethics complaint. She’s paying for these videos of people, these narratives about me.”

He dismissed the smears: “They’re paid performers, they’re paid influencers, so I don’t actually believe the people that are voting for me believe any of these lies that are perpetuated about me.”

Pratt noted the personal cost of running, stating “The reality is, when you run for mayor, every single one of my apps since I announce any app, any social media has to be demonetized. You make no money, I can’t sell my business before this.”

He fired back directly at the coordinated hits from Bass and Raman after his house was burned down in the wild fires. “You make NO MONEY… Anything that I could make money off. You can’t make money when you’re running for Mayor… They know I’m not making any money for this. This isn’t fun. Having people attack you all day isn’t like a fun clout.”

“I was having a lot of fun feeding hummingbirds going live on TT, being with my kids, and then they BURNED my house down and my town.” Pratt fumed, adding “I would like to go back to when I had a house, and my parents had a house, and I’ll take that simple version of clout that was a lot more fun than I have right now.”

The surge has rattled the machine. After months of not taking him seriously, they are now attacking because his organic, common-sense approach is connecting.

This isn’t about left versus right. It’s about a city that has become unlivable under years of failed ‘progressive’ governance.

Pratt isn’t offering ideology. He’s offering accountability, transparency, and results on the basics that matter most.

Angelinos have had enough of the dystopian decline. If common sense keeps winning, the establishment’s days of running LA into the ground may finally be numbered. The choice is clear: more of the same ruin, or a return to streets that work for the people who actually live there.
