Woman Threatened With Prosecution For Putting Gender Critical Notices On Her OWN FRONT DOOR

Council claims poster has a ‘detrimental effect on the public and the LGBT community’

A 68-year-old woman in London has been threatened with fines by her local council after she put up posters expressing gender critical opinions on her own property.

The pensioner was served with a Community Protection Notice (CPN) and threatened with a £2,500 fine by Hammersmith and Fulham Council after just eight complaints, including someone claiming the material is ‘transphobic’.

The Daily Mail reports that Una-Jane Winfield, who felt “a duty to speak out,” pinned an A4 sized photograph of a women displaying scars from breast removal surgery, next to an advert for the book Trans: When Ideology Meets Reality by Helen Joyce  of the campaign group Sex Matters.

The report notes that the council ordered Mrs Winfield to remove the material, which she refuses to do. She will go to court next month to challenge the CPN.

She also says “The police came to have a look at my door on two separate occasions.”

“Thankfully they understood that expression of gender-critical views is protected under the law. But the council has ignored the police,” Winfield adds.

She continues, “In a letter I was told my ‘persistent and continuing conduct’ was having a ‘detrimental effect on the public and the LGBT community’.”

The council claims that the image in question is “provocative and graphic,” and features “nudity prominently displayed on a very busy public section of walkway in plain view.”

Mrs Winfield further counters, “The poster is a very powerful image of girls whose bodies have been irreversibly changed by having surgery to remove their breasts,” adding “At some point, they have been told this would somehow change their sex. That logic doesn’t bear scrutiny, such a change is impossible.”

The report notes that Hammersmith and Fulham Council claims to be ‘the most inclusive borough in the country,’and that it measures performance using trans lobbyist group Stonewall’s Workplace Index.

    1. LOL. Wait until you see how quickly Americans kneel and hand over their guns.

Remember their “dry run”, hurricane Katrina?
      *KNOCK KNOCK*
      “Yes?”
      “Give us your guns.”
“Yes SIR! Would you like my ammo too, sir? Can I polish your badge? How about your knob?”
This was the actual response from so-called “patriotic Americans”.
Having guns is a paper tiger when you lack the will to use them. And that should have happened the moment they declared us “non-essential.”

      It didn’t.

      1. As a Canadian ex-pat living in California, I’d like to say American military vets are patriots and some of the fiercest fighters on Earth. If the time ever comes, and I believe it will not, these brave men and women will spare no quarter. Have you checked out any of the MMA fighters we have over here?

        1. We military veterans will absolutely fight to protect the Constitution and the nation.
letmepicyou (above) doesn’t know what she’s talking about and it probably neither an American nor a veteran.

      2. I think you misunderstand the overwhelming sentiment the majority of Americans have about remaining free.

Some of the same team that fucked up Ruby Ridge and Waco took part in the Bundy Ranch incident.

Want to know why we don’t hear about Bundy Ranch like we do RR or Waco?
Because they stuck to their guns and chased the government off the property.
They stood their ground, even with the mainstream media against them.
The feds had better weapons, armor, and vehicles but were run off by people on horses with legal fire arms.

Americans aren’t going to keel over.

Also I’d like to see your sources for people giving up guns in Katrina. Seems to me with all the looting and violence, that would be the last time you’d want to give them up.
