Remember last year when a Waffen-SS Nazi was given a standing ovation in the Canadian parliament in front of Ukrainian President Zelensky? It turns out that it was indeed Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who sent the invite.
As we reported at the time, the Canadian Speaker of the House was forced to resign following the incident where 98-year-old Ukrainian SS solider Yaroslav Hunka was cheered and honoured, with Trudeau refusing to take any responsibility.
Trudeau effectively sacrificed Anthony Rota, with opposition leader Pierre Poilievre noting that “Canadians are sick and tired of a prime minister who never takes responsibility for things that happen under his watch,” adding “he always finds someone else to throw under the bus,” and asking the Speaker of the House “are you that person?”
It seemingly didn’t matter that Trudeau personally met with the Nazi before the celebration in Parliament:
After the incident Trudeau didn’t show up in Parliament and his underlings attempted, but failed, to get all records of the Nazi scandal erased from history.
Now The Globe & Mail reports that “Trudeau invited Yaroslav Hunka, the Ukrainian Waffen-SS veteran who received two ovations in the House of Commons during a visit by Volodymyr Zelensky, to a reception he hosted in the Ukrainian President’s honour the same day.”
The report continues, “Hunka did not attend the Toronto reception, but his invitation by the Prime Minister to the event with the Ukrainian President has raised fresh questions about who approved the Waffen-SS veteran’s attendance, and if his background had been checked.”
The report further notes that the invitation was sent to the Nazi via email with the subject line, “Invitation from the Prime Minister of Canada – September 22, 2023.”
The email read, “Dear Yaroslav Hunka, The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, is pleased to invite you to a special event. The event will take place on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 8.30 pm in Toronto, Ontario.”
The email asked for an RSVP by the next day and added, “Once we receive confirmation of your attendance, the formal invitation will be issued, including detailed information regarding registration and access.”
Responding to the development, Shimon Koffler Fogel, president and chief executive of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs, said “It is clear that failures in due diligence were not limited to the Office of the Speaker and extended to the Office of Prime Minister Trudeau,” adding “It is unfortunate that the vetting process was either insufficient or perhaps even non-existent.”
Poilievre also reacted to the development:
Hunka was a part of the 14th Waffen-SS Galicia division, made up of Ukrainian volunteers in 1943 by Heinrich Himmler, head of the SS. Members of the unit pledged allegiance to Hitler, with many ending up living freely in Canada after the war ended.

Why is everybody misspelling Turdeau?
A leftist politician lied? What is the world coming to?
Makes sense, as he’s working with the old Nazis to revive the new Nazis.
Just goes to show, for all of their over use of the label, the leftists wouldn’t know an actual nazi if he walked up and bit them.
Seems like Klaus Schwab, who was 6 years old when he was in Nazi Germany, is heading up a burgeoning 4th Reich collective, with people like Trudeau as one of his lackey’s.
