A book aimed at children as young as eight includes details of how “penis owners” and “vagina owners” can engage in anal sex, fingering, scissoring, and other sexual acts.
The book, Welcome to Sex, was recently published in the UK by Simon & Schuster and is clearly presented to be an instructional guide for children and is lavishly illustrated with graphic cartoons.
One of its authors, Yumi Stynes, previously asserted that a “mature eight-year-old could flick through” the book.
Stynes therefore wants young children nearly a decade away from the age of consent to be exposed to information about on “how to finger someone?”, “a 69” and “the lowdown on anal sex,” which all feature in the book.
Details about masturbation, lesbian scissoring and gender curiosity are also included.
Potential child readers are advised on how to perform oral sex on a penis, while the book also includes references to “gagging” and how to use “your mouth and tongue.”
The “no-silly-questions guide to sexuality” also features descriptions of gay anal sex, porn and orgasms.
Parents have slammed the book as vile.
“My nine year old is currently sat drawing and playing with her squishmallow teddy. She’s a baby, I would be horrified if she was taught or read anything about those subjects. Absolutely no need for it,” wrote one.
“Children are not safe anymore. They can’t even enjoy being a kid. Shame on the sick adults promoting this,” added another.
However, author Yumi Stynes shot back by asserting, “If you don’t want to read it, by all means, don’t read it.”
She still apparently wants your small children to read it though.
Tanya Carter, a spokeswoman for Safe Schools Alliance, said the book was “alarming,” adding that it was “disingenuous to pretend that the only options are no sex education at all or this deeply inappropriate book.”
The effort to ban such books in schools in the United States is an ongoing battle, with MSNBC host Joy Reid yesterday demanding that books containing rape, pedophilia and incest should be made available for school kids as young as six.
