Howard Stern became the latest celebrity to perform the laughable ritual of announcing he had caught COVID before thanking the vaccine.
The 69-year-old “shock jock,” who now spends half his time parroting establishment narratives, made the announcement on his show Monday.
“See if we can get through this show. We were supposed to be back last week. We weren’t, because I got COVID-19,” said Stern.
Despite revealing he’d been through “hell” and asserting, “I’ve really never been this sick,” the SiriusXM presenter still lauded the jab.
“What a wallop this thing is — can you imagine if we didn’t have the vaccine?” he asked.
While demonizing those who refused to take the vaccine as “imbeciles” and “nut jobs,” demanding that nurses should refuse to treat them, Stern has been living in pathetic fear of the virus for years.
Only in October 2022 did the radio host emerge from his “apocalypse bunker” to go out for dinner, having hidden in his home for over two years.
This led to Real Time host Bill Maher wondering at one point if he’d ever see his friend again.
Stern also revealed that his wife probably thinks he’s a massive pussy and that they argue about his paranoia.
“My wife yelled at me last night. We got into a fight,” said Stern last September, adding, “You know how paranoid I am about getting COVID. I haven’t gotten it, and I’m pretty safe, and I really don’t want to get it.”
Despite his countless booster shots, copious mask wearing and his hermit-like behavior, Stern ended up getting it anyway.
But thank God for the vaccine, right?

To those who insist on saying that Covid is a disease, I say: Go get treated!

Masks are, of course, useless in preventing you from getting Covid. They may be somewhat useful in helping contain the spread of a contagion, but also pretty much useless where a virus is concerned. Masks are only actually helpful in containing the spread of a bacterial disease. Germs being so much larger than viruses. But, still, not 100%. That not withstanding, anything that is helpful in decreasing the number of bacteria that enter you in the first place will decrease your chances of becoming very ill before the body has done it’s thing and killed them all.
Also, alcohol based hand sanitizers are only really effective against bacteria. Pretty much useless against viruses. Not one hand sanitizer label I have read says anything about killing viruses. Whereas products from Clorox and Lysol do boast about killing both. But they are not so easy on your hands. Even they can kill 99% of viruses only if left on a given surface for about 15 minutes (read the label). IOW, soak your hands in them for 15 minutes. Not feasible. Still, they are more effective than hand sanitizers if only rubbed on your hands for a few seconds. That’s why I carried a packet of Clorox wipes and not hand sanitizer wipes. I don’t know what the big deal was about hand sanitizers during the pandemic. I would put them in the category of placebos where viruses are concerned.
However, judging from the comments in here, it’s clear many people still don’t understand how vaccines work. They CANNOT prevent you from “getting” the virus. The virus will enter you no matter what and try to set up housekeeping. It’s not like the vaccine (or even natural immunity) can kill them when they’re floating in the air. You will still breath them in. What they CAN do is attack the virus right away and prevent them from becoming established in large numbers inside you. You will still get a case and test positive, but the anti-bodies created by the vaccines can keep them from making you seriously ill. Your symptoms will range from sniffles to, as in Stern’s case, making you quite ill. But he bounced back in a relatively short period of time. Hopefully with no long term consequences. Nothing is guaranteed. Not even natural immunity thanks to viruses ability to mutate so quickly. That’s what the boosters are for. And, of course, you can spread the virus while you are infected, even after all the injections.

People still insisting on wearing “masks” and thinking they do anything against contracting a virus is ignorance on steroids. All masks do is keep people breathing their own exhalation over and over – they’re worthless to prevent Covid.

What happened is that Stern lived long enough to find out, the hard way, that at least some of what the people he “hated” were saying was (and still is) correct. Humans are stubborn and will cling to misconceptions until the truth of the situation smacks them directly in the face. For some, only after they get slapped several times. Even famous people.
