Doctor Who Goes Gay in Latest Manifestation of “The Message”

Sir Isaac Newton was also mixed race.

After last week’s insertion of transgender pronouns and the denigration of Doctor Who for “presenting” as a man, this week’s episode featured a clear suggestion that the Time Lord is actually gay and that Sir Isaac Newton was mixed race.

Yes, really.

The BBC is broadcasting three Doctor Who specials to mark the show’s 60th anniversary.

During last night’s episode, David Tennant’s character is asked by his assistant, “Is it just me or was Isaac Newton hot?”

The Doctor replies, “He was, wasn’t he? He was so hot. Oh! Is that who I am now?”

“Well, it was never too far from the surface, mate. I always thought you…” responded his assistant.

In another scene, Isaac Newton, a white English man born in 1642, is played by a mixed race actor of Indian heritage called Nathaniel Curtis.

The show has been panned by critics for merely becoming the latest vehicle for “the message”.

“Award-winning Russell T Davies, who was the creator and the sole writer of Queer as Folk, has returned as the showrunner to mark the special anniversary,” reports the Telegraph.

As we highlighted last week, Tennant’s character was scolded for assuming an alien’s pronouns by a transgender character.

In another clip, the Doctor is browbeaten once again for being a “male-presenting timelord” and not understanding in the same way that female Doctors would.

Well, he’s gay now, so that at least goes some way to make up for it.

What’s in store for the final episode?

Doctor Who to proudly proclaim he’s decided to have his testicles lopped off and identify as a non-binary space troon?

The Tardis to be renamed so as not to appear ableist?

Can’t wait.

  1. When asked why he would willingly destroy his version of The Doctor, David Tennant replied “I like money..”.

  2. I stopped watching TV and any form of mass produced garbage and I am so happy I did. This is awful insufferable shit. Maybe the BBC should stop taking money from bill serial killer gates.
