CNN’s resident Trump-hater Jake Tapper has sunk to new lows, peddling the absurd claim that President Trump wants to execute Democratic members of Congress—prompting Reuters to issue a laughable “clarification” that, no, Trump does not actually plan to kill his political opponents.
The whole manufactured outrage stems from a ‘seditious’ video released by a cabal of congressional Democrats—all with military or intelligence backgrounds—who vaguely urged active-duty service members and intel pros to defy “illegal orders” from the Trump administration, without citing a single actual unlawful directive.
The clip, spearheaded by Michigan Rep. Elissa Slotkin and featuring Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly, Colorado Rep. Jason Crow, Pennsylvania Rep. Chris Deluzio, and Pennsylvania Rep. Chrissy Houlahan, accuses Trump of “pitting” the military “against American citizens” and violating the Constitution, while solemnly intoning: “You can refuse illegal orders… You must refuse illegal orders.”

Senior Trump advisor Stephen Miller blasted the video as a blatant call for rebellion, proclaiming: “It’s a general call for rebellion from the CIA and the Armed Services… It is insurrection. Plainly, directly, without question!”
Miller eviscerated Democrats as a “third world party” that “don’t believe in systems, they don’t believe in rules, they don’t believe in laws. They believe in whatever keeps them in power,” even if it means inciting a “military insurrection or a CIA insurrection.”
Trump himself fired back on Truth Social, labeling the video “seditious behavior” and noting it could be “punishable by death” under the law— a hypothetical reminder of the gravity of undermining the chain of command, not a literal threat.
Yet the fake news brigade, led by Tapper, twisted it into Trump plotting executions, with the CNN clown posting “Update: now he’s suggesting the Democratic lawmakers should be executed.”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt torched the media during Thursday’s briefing for fixating on Trump’s response while ignoring the real danger: Democrats encouraging 1.3 million active-duty troops to shatter the chain of command, which could “lead to people getting killed” and “incite violence.”
Leavitt hammered: “You have sitting members of the United States Congress, who conspired together to orchestrate a video message… encouraging them to defy the president’s lawful orders. The sanctity of our military rests on the chain of command, and if that chain of command is broken, it can lead to people getting killed.”
She stressed that every Trump order has been “lawful,” backed by an “unparalleled record at the Supreme Court,” and slammed the Dems’ actions as “a very, very dangerous message, and it perhaps is punishable by law.”

Trump has also further commented on the debacle.

As we highlighted earlier, Fox News’ Martha MacCallum grilled Rep. Crow on the video, pressing him repeatedly: “What specific order from the commander in chief… are you objecting to? This is very, very vague.”
Crow dodged with “allusions” to past Trump comments, but admitted no concrete illegal orders exist, insisting they’re just “preparing” troops for hypothetical future problems. “I don’t want to wait until that happens,” he whined, confirming it’s all fear-mongering with zero substance.
This is peak TDS: Democrats incite potential mutiny against a duly elected president, media ignores it, then flips out over Trump’s pushback.
