White House senior aide Stephen Miller has floated bringing seditious conspiracy charges against Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and other Democrats if they follow through on threats to have federal agents arrested as they attempt to restore law and order to cities.
In A Fox News interview, Miller urged “It doesn’t only apply to Gov. Pritzker.”
“It applies to any state official, local official, anybody who’s operating in an official capacity who conspires or engages in activity that unlawfully impedes federal law enforcement conducting their duties,” Miller added.
“There’s obstruction of justice. There is harboring illegal aliens. There is impeding the enforcement of our immigration laws,” he contiuned.
“Then as you get up the scale of behavior, you obviously get into seditious conspiracy charges, depending on the conduct, and many other offenses,” Miller further emphasised.

Trump’s Homeland Security advisor added, “If you engage in a criminal conspiracy to obstruct the enforcement of federal immigration laws or to unlawfully order your own police officers or your own officials to try to interfere with ICE officers, or even to arrest ICE officers, you’re engaged in criminal activity.”
Miller then appealed to all ICE officers, announcing “you have federal IMMUNITY in the conduct of your duties.”
“Anybody who lays a hand on you or tries to stop you or tries to obstruct you is committing a felony,” Miller stressed.
“If officials cross that line into obstruction, into criminal conspiracy against the United States or against ICE officers, then they will face justice,” he vowed.

Miller’s comments come in the wake of sustained attacks on ICE agents in cities including Chicago, where the mayor has promised to institute ‘ICE free zones’ barring federal agents from operating.
Democrats have also announced that they intend to implement ICE tracking software on their own website, directly endangering federal agents.
Pritzker has sued rhetoric Trump administration in an effort to halt the federal surge in Chicago, in addition to repeatedly directly referencing Nazi Germany in comparison to Trump’s efforts to restore order.
