A British version of DOGE instituted in areas where Nigel Farage’s Reform won seats in the last round of elections has found that local government is spending hundreds of thousands in taxpayer money on unnecessary perks for illegal immigrants, including subscriptions to Netflix.
Not content with putting them up in luxury hotels and giving them loaded debit cards, at least ten local councils are providing illegal aliens with subscriptions to streaming services such as Netflix and Disney +, as well as spending close to £120,000 on fast food such as Dominoes Pizza and McDonalds.
The local governments have also handed out gift cards for electrical stores Currys and Argos, presumably so the illegals can get a TV to watch their Netflix, and even paid for outings, including trips to safari parks, the circus, and mini golf.

Alp Mehmet of Migration Watch UK remarked that the figures expose the “hidden costs of the uncontrolled asylum system.”
“Families are happy to pay for their children to come illegally because minors are accepted more readily and then looked after in the way that has been unearthed,” Mehmet continued.
In due course the rest of the family will be able to join them,” Mehment further urged.
The findings prompted many to suggest these illegals have it better than most working class British families.

Zia Yusuf, head of Reform’s department of government efficiency commented, “Asylum is already a heavy burden on the Treasury. The Home Office spent a record £5.38billion on asylum seekers in 2023-24 – up 36 per cent on the previous year.”
“So to blow even a penny of that on crazy golf or skateboarding is a betrayal of the taxpayer,” Yusuf emphasised.
“It’s clear that those who came to the country illegally are enjoying better lifestyles than many of the taxpayers who fund all this,” Yusuf continued, adding “Small boat migrants get a free life of leisure, while British families struggle to find the time and money to take their own families out.”
A recent analysis of government data found that in just one year, over a million migrants in Britain received more than £7.6 billion in welfare.
Previous stats also compiled by the CMC have revealed that almost 1.7 million foreigners residing in the UK are out of work or “economically inactive,” costing taxpayers an estimated £8.5 billion per year.
The £8.5 billion estimate doesn’t even include the costs of asylum seekers, as well as foreign students, meaning the actual cost to a British taxpayers is probably much higher.
As we’ve repeatedly highlighted, these ‘refugees’ get to spend their time in lavish hotels at taxpayer expense.
Or they’re sent to quaint villages where residents don’t know what has hit them.
