During a speech at the Detroit Economic Club Thursday, Donald Trump kept returning to the theme that “stupid people” pose the biggest threat to our freedoms and need to be purged from the political landscape.
“A lot of countries don’t like me,” Trump told the crowd, adding “They say who do you like better? Sleepy Joe Biden, or Trump? ‘Oh, I like Biden better.’ Yeah, because he let them do what they’re doing. He doesn’t have a clue, the guy. He just goes to sleep at 4:00 every damn day. He doesn’t have a clue,” Trump urged.
He continued, “And he’s destroying our country. You see, that’s the real threat to the democracy, stupid people. That’s the threat, our biggest threat to democracy is stupid people.”

Trump returned to the stupid theme when discussing pointless foreign wars.
“We go in, we blow up countries, and then we leave. We got nothing except dead people all over the place, on both sides. How stupid are we?” Trump said.
He then expressed frustration with past Republican regimes as well as the Democrats.
“That was a Cheney deal and a Bush. How stupid are we? Not just Democrats, it’s both. I’m equally angry at both,” he noted.
