Amnesty International has claimed that an activist who appeared to applaud a call by a Labour councillor to ‘cut the throats’ of right-wingers couldn’t hear what the man said, despite being stood next to him as he spoke through a loudspeaker.
As we highlighted yesterday, during a protest dubbed as “peaceful” by the media, Ricky Jones, a Labour Councillor for Princes, openly called for violence against anti-mass migration protesters.
“They are disgusting Nazi fascists,” asserted Jones, adding, “And we need to cut all their throats and get rid of them all,” while performing the cut throat gesture by running his finger across his neck.
Jones was subsequently suspended by the Labour Party and arrested by police for “encouraging violent disorder”.
A woman stood behind him wearing a high-vis jacket and an Amnesty International logo responded by applauding the words, along with numerous others in the crowd.
After being asked about the woman’s actions, Amnesty International responded by claiming she didn’t hear what Jones had said.
“We appreciate you taking time to write in and raise your concerns,” the organization said. “Members and supporters of Amnesty UK attended the mass rally in Walthamstow. The activist in the video has made clear to us that they were distracted and hadn’t heard the speaker’s comments when they applauded generally with the crowd.”
Amnesty went on to claim that the activist had no affiliation with them despite the fact that she was wearing their logo and appeared to be one of the protest leaders.
Guido Fawkes doubts the woman’s excuse given “the fact Jones had a megaphone and was standing right next to her.”

Isn’t it strange that the Judaics and Chocolates can say whatever they want
about us Humans but when we say anything about them we’re Gulag-bound!
You’d almost think the Judaics and Chocolates RAN the whole world! ?
At least Jones has been charged (albeit with a lower offence) and remanded until 6th September, when he will appear before Crown Court. I imagine he will be ‘made an example of’ in an attempt to ‘disprove’ 2-tier policing, 2-tier justice and 2-tier government.
Because of two tier Keir.
I wouldn’t even donate my shite to amnesty international.
She probably didn’t. Too much noise.this article is intended to push the hysteria line.
