Another Female Boxer Makes ‘XX’ Protest Sign As “Male” Defeats Her To Reach Olympic Final

XY “males” have won every single round they’ve fought

Turkish female Olympic boxer Esra Kahraman protested by flashing the double X sign at the Paris Olympics after being soundly beaten by Lin Yu-Ting of Taiwan, who has been found to have XY (biological male) chromosomes.

The resounding 5-0 ‘victory’ means that both Lin Yu-Ting and Imane Khelif of Algeria, who also has XY chromosomes, will compete in the finals of the women’s featherweight and Welterweight categories for gold medals.

Turkey’s Kahraman emulated the previous protest of Bulgarian Svetlana Staneva, who made a double X sign after being pummelled by Yu-Ting in the semi final.

As we highlighted earlier this week, The International Boxing Association (IBA) held a press conference in Paris and categorically confirmed that both Yu-Ting and Khelif are “male” by definition of medical science because they failed previous gender chromosome tests that determine who is allowed to compete in the women’s category.

Dr. Ioannis Filippatos, the former Chair of the IBA Medical Committee, was adamant that the fighters should not be competing as women, stating “Medicine is knowledge, it is not opinion,” and adding “The nature and the biological world do not change.”

Both the fighters in question have won every single round they have fought in the games.

In the round of 16 Khelif didn’t even have to win any rounds because Italian fighter Angela Carini’s nose was broken after just 46 seconds. Carini refused to carry on, fearing for her life.

  1. It think this is a pretty slippery slope here, and it may be a trap.
If the authorities are lying and the boxers in question do have male organs, then this is about them “identifying” as female.
The story going around right now is that they have Swyer Syndrome, which causes female organs to develop while having an XY chromosome. So what makes a woman at this point? Genes or visible organs?
What about a man with de la Chappell Syndrome, where there are male organs but XX chromosomes?
He would have male genitalia, but would he be allowed to fight women? If the push for “genes are the only and hard truth”, then we pigeon hole ourselves.
The biggest question here is that Swyer Syndrome occurs in 1 in 80,000 women( I am going to say women since most still have a functional womb and develop breasts), so two at the Olympics is a 0.00000156% chance. Basically impossible.
I would like a dialogue about that.

    1. You would like “a dialogue about that”? That’s your problem…

Everyone else is sick of debating genetic X-files scenarios.

      1. Ok, so is a human with XY chromosomes and female genitalia a man and a human with XX chromosomes and male genitalia a woman? As long as someone with male genitalia had genetic evidence he was XX, he could access female spaces, if the chromosome only argument is the only argument.
By the way, de la Chappell Syndrome is 4 times for prevalent than Swyer Syndrome.
Please let me know where is the lapse in the logic of the argument. Anyone else is welcome to join in, since your actual argument is better than a dismissal.

  2. “XY “males” have won every single round they’ve fought”

Why is “males” in quotes? XY is the definition of male. Does the author have some doubt as to whether these thugs who like beating up women are really men?
