Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s 15-year-old daughter came out as transgender, choosing to make the announcement during her grandfather’s funeral.

Seraphina Rose chose the occasion of Garner’s father’s memorial service to announce that she was now calling herself Fin.
Following the other grandchildren, Rose stood behind the church lectern and said, “Hello my name is Fin Affleck,” before reading Chapter 16, Verse 8 from the Book of Proverbs.
Wearing a black suit and a buzzcut hairstyle, Rose had previously died her hair pink.
Some X users questioned the timing of the announcement.
The Daily Mail reports that, “The 15-year-old is just one of several celebrity kids who are finding their identities.”
Indeed, many have wondered what is it about the offspring of Hollywood stars that makes so many of them turn transgender.
All three of actress Meghan Fox’s sons are transgender.
Jennifer Lopez, who married Affleck in 2022, has a 16-year-old daughter who uses gender-neutral pronouns.
Actress Jamie Lee Curtis’ daughter Ruby also came out as transgender in 2021.
Sigourney Weaver’s 34-year-old child also identifies as non-binary, while Charlize Theron’s daughter Jackson is also apparently obsessed with ‘the importance of pronouns’.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s 17-year-old daughter Shiloh is also reportedly in the process of ‘transitioning’.
“[Shiloh] only wants to be called John. John or Peter. So it’s a Peter Pan thing,” Pitt said on the Oprah Winfrey show.
