Jon Stewart Roasted For Suggesting Crime-Ridden Big Cities is “Price of Freedom”

And you’re a Putin stooge if you think it hasn’t always been this way.

Jon Stewart was roasted for suggesting that living in crime-ridden, filthy big cities is “the price of freedom” and that anyone uncomfortable with that is a stooge for Vladimir Putin.

Stewart has been wheeled back into position as host of The Daily Show for 2024, presumably as yet another mouthpiece for the Biden campaign.

During his show last night, the comedian raged against Tucker Carlson for interviewing the Russian president.

“Right, because the difference between our urinal-caked, chaotic subways and your candelabra beautiful subways is the literal price of freedom,” said Stewart.

“I mean liberty is nice, but have you seen Russia’s shopping carts,” he added.

Yes indeed, Jon.

Living in crackhead-infested, needle and shit-strewn big cities where criminals run rampant and aren’t even apprehended or prosecuted is “the price of freedom,” and you’re bad for suggesting it wasn’t like this once.

After all, countries like Japan, which have both political freedom and nice, clean, relatively low crime big cities simply don’t exist!

Stewart then claimed that Tucker was sympathetic with Putin because he is an ‘ally’ in the war against “woke,” despite the fact that Putin has openly said he wants Joe Biden to win the election.

Respondents on X had a field day.

Some noticed that Stewart has largely dropped the goofy comedy act to become yet another regime narrative enforcer.

  1. “the literal price of electing Democrat leaders” There, I fixed it.

He’s not, however, entirely wrong. A truly free country IS a dangerous country. And that is why each citizen needs to own and know how to use guns of all sorts. It’s not just cops who stop crime, it’s the responsibility of every law abiding citizen who wants a safer community to own and carry at least one. Cops can’t be everywhere all the time, nor would we want them to be. And you can’t count on them to do what needs to be done even when they do show up. They are so tied up in legalese nonsense they will hesitate at the crucial moment. So it is up to those who can protect themselves and theirs to also protect those who can’t. Unlike third world countries, places in America become safer when it’s honest and trustworthy citizens are armed. That used to be 90% of Americans. Now, with the Democrats in charge so often that has dropped considerably. More like 70% to 80% of Republicans and 30%-40% of Democrats. Not sure about the Independents or Illegals. Nonetheless, the one saving grace about all the so-called “migrants” flooding the country is that a large number are Christians. Many are devout Christians. Not so much for Europe. They seem to currently be doomed to repeat ancient history. And when I say “doomed” I MEAN “doomed.”

    1. You’re correct. And though not fan of Stewart, labeling him as Biden mouth piece is far from the truth. You’d have to be ignorant to see him like that.

  2. The #1 industry in Honduras is kidnapping for ransom. Every store has armed guards. The bigger the store, the bigger the guns. Homes have steel doors and bars on windows to combat break-ins. Richer peoples’ homes had high walls with concertina wire on top and guard towers.
The price of freedom should not be chaos and violence.
