The Malian man who deliberately traveled to Paris to carry out a mass stabbing attack posted TikTok rants during which he asserted, “I hate all French people,” although police insist the incident is not terror-related.
Sagou Gouno Kassogue set fire to his backpack at 8am in Gare de Lyon station this morning at 8am before attacking random people with a knife and a hammer, leaving two people injured and another in intensive care.
As we highlighted earlier, numerous news outlets reported that the man is “Italian,” despite him being from Mali, because he presented police with an Italian driving license.
The killer was reportedly granted asylum by Italy back in 2016.
Kassogue posted TikTok videos during which he declared “I hate all French people” and, “All the problems on this planet are due to Westerners.”
The culprit blamed France for “impoverishing developing nations” in Africa and said that French people would “reap the storm” they had sowed for decades.
He also ironically asserted that France is a “terrorist state that finances terrorists.”
According to Le Parisien, Kassogue “had arrived in France on February 1 from Italy, by train, specifically to “commit his act,” as he admitted to investigators, and had been sleeping in the street since his arrival in Paris.”
“In one posting, dated December 2, 2023, Kassogue writes: ‘R.I.P. (Rest in Peace) in three months, may Allah welcome me to his paradise’,” reports the Daily Mail.
However, despite investigators admitting he posted “Salafist content,” authorities say the incident is not terrorism because Kassogue didn’t shout something religious during the attack.
Media coverage has also concentrated on his supposed psychiatric problems, the usual go to excuse deployed in order to avoid having to talk about the consequences of open borders and mass migration.
The attack was clearly motivated by Kassogue’s hatred of white western people, so expect the story to be largely forgotten within a couple of days.
