Video footage uploaded to YouTube has revealed a secretive room full of illegal immigrants in an Atlanta airport, apparently being guarded by military personnel and being helped to travel to destinations within the US by volunteer workers.
The footage obtained by The Daily Caller was shot at Hartsfield-Jackson International by a Republican State Senator, Colton Moore, who received a tip off that illegals were being facilitated at the airport.
The volunteers seen in the footage are apparently with a non-profit organisation called Team Libertad, which said in statement that it “helps travelers find their way through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport,” but that “information regarding these travelers is protected by HIPAA (The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).”
The person in the video is heard telling Moore “We’re all getting them flights to where they need to be,” further explaining that “These are just recently documented travelers getting released from ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] getting to where they need to be.”
“There’s people that, they get dropped off here from ICE detention with no help,” the man further claims.
It is unclear who the military official seen in the footage is and in what capacity he is operating, but a comment on the video claims that the patch he is wearing is from the 194th Armored Brigade stationed at Ft Moore Georgia. This claim has not been verified.
The footage shows the volunteers becoming agitated when State Senator Moore attempted to get clear shots of the illegals, they began raising their voices and saying “no, no you’re not allowed,” and Moore claims the military official then snatched at his phone and told him “you’re done.”
“The room was absolutely packed with people from every continent on this planet,” Moore told The Daily Caller, adding “When I took my phone and reached it up above the guy to get a better view of all the illegals in the room, that’s when chaos broke out. That’s when the U.S. Army guy took the phone. It was a scrimmage between he and I in order to get the phone back. And then he proceeded to tell me to get out of there and just made a real big scene out of it.”
As we previously highlighted, illegals have taken over portions of Chicago’s O’Hare airport, with barriers having been put in place to prevent the public from seeing them.
Witnesses have also reported seeing the same thing happening in airports around the country, with footage from last week revealing Boston Logan is housing homeless illegals.
