Vivek Ramaswamy announced that he is dropping out of the 2024 Republican presidential race after finishing in fourth place at the Iowa caucus, behind Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley, with President Trump scoring a massive landslide victory.
After recording only around 8 percent of the vote, Vivek immediately endorsed Trump, recognising that he is certain to be the GOP nominee, and that it is fruitless wasting any more time trying to challenge Trump.
“Ramaswamy told the crowd that he called Trump and congratulated him, adding “now going forward he will have my full endorsement for the presidency, and I think we are going to do the right thing for this country.”
In a post on X Ramaswamy added, “This entire campaign is about speaking the TRUTH. We did not achieve our goal tonight and we need an America-First patriot in the White House.”
He continued, “The people spoke loud and clear about who they want. Tonight I am suspending my campaign and endorsing Donald J. Trump and will do everything I can to make sure he is the next U.S. President. I am enormously proud of this team, this movement, and our country.”
The development comes after Trump warned Republican voters Saturday to stay away from Ramaswamy, labelling him “deceitful,” “sly,” and describing the businessman as “not MAGA.”

Landslide or not, Dems will steal the election as they did in 2020, which was also a landslide victory for President Trump.
