After Donald Trump won a massive landslide victory at the Iowa caucus, MSNBC host Joy Reid declared that Nikki Haley, who failed to even beat Ron DeSantis, fared poorly because she is “a brown lady.”
“It’s the elephant in the room. She’s still a brown lady that has to try and win in a party that is deeply anti-immigrant,” Reid declared, adding “She’s getting birthered by Donald Trump.”
Reid added that Ron DeSantis’ “only argument” for remaining in the race is that “he’s a white guy.”
It couldn’t be because Haley is a deeply unpopular neocon warmonger being actively funded by Democrats?
Reid, somewhat ironically sporting blonde hair, had earlier complained that there are too many White Christian voters in Iowa for it to be fairly representative.
“I feel like the important sort of data point… is that these are white Christians,” she said, adding “This is a state that is overrepresented by white Christians that are going to participate in these caucuses, especially tonight…This is a hyper evangelical, white state.”
“They see themselves as the rightful inheritors of this country, and Trump has promised to give it back to them,” Reid further charged.
The host then suggested that White Christian Iowans believe they “own this country,” and want to have people of colour “bow down” to them.
The woman sounds totally unhinged.
As we highlighted earlier, Trump won a record breaking victory with over 50% of the vote, prompting Rachel Maddow to declare that “fascism is on the rise,” again.
Haley bizarrely announced that the people of Iowa had made the GOP nominee process a “two person race,” after coming in third place.
