NY Times Suggests Child Stabbings in Dublin Were “Rumors” Started by the “Far-Right”

“It snowballed.”

The New York Times published an article suggesting that the riots in Dublin happened because of “rumors” about child stabbings started by the “far-right.”

Yes, really.

Three children were actually stabbed in broad daylight outside a primary school in Dublin on Thursday afternoon by a migrant of Algerian origin, with a 5-year-old girl still fighting for her life in hospital.

However, the New York Times published a headline that seemed to indicate that the stabbings were just a piece of misinformation invented by political extremists.

By implying that the cause of the subsequent riots didn’t actually take place, the headline makes it all the more easy to demonize those involved in the ‘fiery, but mostly peaceful protests’.

The article plays into the narrative that the Algerian national had been given Irish citizenship and was living in the country for 20 years, which apparently makes him “Irish,” despite him still being an immigrant.

As we highlighted yesterday, the Irish Prime Minister responded to the stabbings by vilifying the Irish people for being angry about it.

Leo Varadkar announced new legislation would be rushed through to punish people for the ‘hate speech’ of being furious about about their kids being knifed on the street.

Meanwhile, the BBC reports that authorities will be scanning through 6,000 hours of surveillance footage in a bid to identify more of the rioters and arrest them.

A plan on how to deal with violent criminals who stab primary school children wasn’t forthcoming.

  1. Leo QUEERvadkar’s party gave a roma gypsy who was convicted for exploitation of a minor in Slovakia a FREE HOUSE, BENEFITS FOR 10 YEARS in ireland. Puska the roma gypsy in question later repaid the irish tax payers by killing an irish woman out for a jog in a horrific murder.

Roma gypsies come originally from India just like Queervadkar.

    1. There’s more to that story. The young woman (Aisling Murphy 23) who was stabbed (11 times) by Jozeph Puska had brought attention to some worrying observations about Puska’s child in the school where she taught. He was just sentenced last week. The victim impact statements given by her grieving boyfriend and sister were both heart wrenching and infuriating. All of the normal and aware people in Ireland are angry. We’ve had enough. The stabby Algerian on Thursday tipped everyone over the edge. This has been brewing for a long time. Migrant crime in Ireland has reached critical mass.

      1. I think before now, it was carefully calculated and not necessarily believed by the authorities. Now I think they believe every word of it, which is far scarier.

  2. Elon was right, varadkar hates the Irish people. Even more than rushing hates the British. What happened after thise horrible stabbings was fully justified after years of persecution by him and his paid media. Every politician in Ireland that’s part of a political party in the Irish Parliament needs to be dragged out and hung from the nearest lamp post.
