Public schools across the U.S. are closed today as activists stage an “economic blackout” to protest President Trump and what they describe as a “billionaire takeover.”
Teachers and staff have left classes in order to storm Marxist rallies, proving once again that taxpayer-funded education has become a breeding ground for leftist indoctrination controlled by unions.
This disruption hits parents and students hardest in blue jurisdictions, where Marxist protests have resulted in 20 top school districts canceling school because of the communist-funded anti-Trump protests.

The so called May Day protests, purporting to be anti-capitalist, are funded by far left groups with billions of dollars in revenue, with people being encouraged to call off work as well.
A Fox News investigation found that up to 600 groups—including actual communists—are mobilizing roughly 3,000 events nationwide. Marxist and communist-linked groups, including some tied to China-based tech tycoon Neville Singham are funneling $2 billion in revenue to the protests.
? HOLY CRAP! A massive amount of teachers and school staff have STORMED to a Marxist and socialist-backed rally in North Carolina

They literally canceled class to vouch for communist policies. DEFUND THE SCHOOLS!

Groups involved include chapters of the Democratic Socialists of America, the People’s Forum, the Party for Socialism and Liberation, ANSWER Coalition and Code Pink .
A deeper concern is that the pro-communist network is promoting the May Day events with traditionally blue organizations that make up the Democratic Party network, including nonprofits Indivisible, MoveOn.org, and the American Federation of Teachers, as well as at least 13 state and local chapters of the Democratic National Committee, including the California Democratic Party.

DEFUND THEM! The schools have become Marxist camps!
"May Day" protests are devoutly ANTI-CAPITALIST and anti-AMERICAN, funded by groups… pic.twitter.com/6tKnRtVEej
The Communist Party of the USA has rallied workers to “rise against MAGA on May Day.” The Revolutionary Communist Party calls to dismantle the “capitalist-imperialist system.” The Maoist Communist Union summoned members to join the “Anti-Imperialist Contingent” at New York City protests.
Democratic strategist Melissa DeRosa noted, “the increasing willingness of mainstream Democrats to align with extremist socialist groups is a major factor in why the Democratic Party is losing the center more and more, and why so many lifelong Democrats find themselves feeling politically homeless.”
“May Day has a proud history of honoring workers,” she continued, “but too many Democratic organizations have allowed that tradition to be hijacked by the activist fringe — including groups aligned with the Democratic Socialists of America, pushing a fantasy agenda that has failed everywhere it has been tried.”
Public schools have become taxpayer funded indoctrination camps controlled by Teachers Unions. The American Federation of Teachers is directly tied into the organizing network pushing these walkouts and rallies.
As exposed earlier this year, teachers unions like the NEA are funneling millions of taxpayer dollars to Soros-linked groups and far-left agendas. New Labor Department filings showed the NEA channeled $300,000 to the 1630 Fund dark money group, tens of thousands to the Tides Foundation Network with its Soros ties, and hundreds of thousands more into racial justice and anti-testing campaigns—while American kids fall further behind in basics
Instead of teaching reading and math, union bosses prioritize political activism. In North Carolina, teachers ditched classrooms for the rallies. In Chicago and Madison, districts bent to union pressure for optional participation or outright closures. Parents scrambling for childcare or missing work get the bill—literally and figuratively.
These aren’t spontaneous protests. Rather, they are orchestrated by groups with foreign ties and billions in revenue pushing an extremist agenda. The radical left is doubling down on disruption, foreign influence, and turning public institutions against the people who fund them.
The message is unmistakable. When unions and Democrats march alongside communists funded from Shanghai, the priority isn’t workers or education—it’s power and infiltration.
