Establishment BANS MP Rupert Lowe From Asking Questions After Over 1,000 FOI Requests

Restore Britain leader’s relentless scrutiny of grooming gangs triggers desperate censorship move

Rupert Lowe, MP for Great Yarmouth and leader of Restore Britain, has been exposing uncomfortable truths for the British public through over 1,000 Freedom of Information requests. Now they’ve banned him from making any more.

Lowe’s team has used FOI requests to uncover scandals involving grooming gangs, immigration costs, and government failures on deportations — issues Restore Britain has made central to its platform. This latest move comes just weeks after the party laid out its uncompromising agenda.

The WhatDoTheyKnow site claims Lowe’s account was used for “general messages” or personal correspondence rather than strict FOI requests. Lowe was having none of it. He stated: “Sadly our access has been restricted, which I do not believe is in the spirit of transparency.” He added sarcastically: “What a novel approach that is.”

Lowe has chaired an independent inquiry into rape gangs that found the problem far more widespread than previously admitted, spanning decades and dozens of areas. His FOI work has repeatedly forced authorities to confront data they would rather keep buried — from the scale of foreign offender absconding to the true costs of mass migration.

Supporters have already stepped up, offering to file the requests on his behalf and distribute details so the work continues. One Restore Britain spokesman noted the party is “the only political party first correctly identifying the issues, but more importantly outlining how to solve it.”

The timing is telling. Restore Britain is surging, registering as a party and entering national polling while pushing policies that put British citizens first: mass deportations of illegals and foreign criminals, zero tolerance for grooming and child exploitation, and an end to cultural practices that clash with British values.

The establishment’s response has been to attempt to shut down the questions rather than answer them.

This ban exposes the fragility of the current system. When an elected MP — acting on behalf of the public that pays his salary — starts digging too deep into grooming scandals, deportation failures and taxpayer-funded failures, the shutters come down.

Lowe’s office confirmed the FOIs have already delivered major results, with teams uncovering “huge scandals through FOI and investigation work.” The censorship “will not stop us from continuing those efforts,” they added.

Britain faces record migration, strained services, and a grooming gang scandal that successive governments have failed to eradicate. Restore Britain’s message is simple: enough is enough. Protect British children. Deport foreign criminals. Put Britain first.

The establishment’s panic move against Lowe only proves one thing — he is over the target. The more they try to silence him, the clearer it becomes that real accountability is the last thing they want.
