Democrats’ contempt for the nation was on full display during President Trump’s State of the Union address, where Rep. Rashida Tlaib was seen apparently chanting “KKK” amid patriotic “USA!” chants from Republicans.
Meanwhile, Rep. Ilhan Omar not only heckled the President but later doubled down, rejecting calls to apologize and bizarrely invoking racial slurs. It’s a clear sign that putting America first remains anathema to these leftist lunatics.
The incident unfolded as President Trump addressed the need to end sanctuary cities, prompting Republicans to erupt in “USA!” chants. Video footage captured Tlaib, seated next to Omar, appearing to mouth “KKK” instead.

Rashida Tlaib: “KKK.”
Everything you need to know about today's Democrats. They cannot stand this country, they cannot stand its comeback, & they cannot hide their contempt anymore. pic.twitter.com/fQCTkh6WVa
As we detailed in our earlier coverage, Democrats boycotted the speech en masse or sat stone-faced through applause for securing borders, reducing crime, and prioritizing citizens over illegals. About 70 Democrats skipped the event entirely, holding counter-rallies to bash Trump’s America First agenda.
Omar’s outburst came during Trump’s remarks on protecting Americans, where she shouted, “You have killed Americans, you should be ashamed.” In a post-SOTU CNN interview with Wolf Blitzer, she refused three opportunities to express regret for attending.
Blitzer asked: “The House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries, advised your caucus, the Democratic members, to either skip the State of the Union address or sit there in silence. Should you have just boycotted the address? And do you think you violated the guidelines set out by your own leader?”
Omar replied: “No, I think it was really unavoidable the president talked about protecting Americans, and I just had to remind him that his administration was responsible for killing two of my constituents.”
Blitzer continued, “Many members of your Democratic Party criticized their Republican counterparts when they interrupted president Biden’s State of the Union address. Do you have any regrets at all about the interaction we played between you and President Trump just last night?”
Omar responded, “I do not, and I think many people look at that moment when the president says it is our responsibility to protect Americans and he does not acknowledge the fact that two Americans two of my constituents, two of our neighbors were were killed.”
Ilhan Omar made her first public appearance since her infamous State of the Union outburst…and it was a total DISASTER.

CNN’s Wolf Blitzer gave her THREE chances to apologize for her barbaric behavior last night…she REFUSED every single one.

A third time, Blitzer probed, “With hindsight, Congresswoman, do you think you would have been better off boycotting the speech like so many other democratic lawmakers did, or did you do the right thing by actually showing up there?”
Omar replied “I brought for Minnesotans up as guests for the Minnesota delegation. It was important for us to be there, to bear witness, to hold space for our constituents that have lived through an occupation from federal law enforcement, that have been terrorized, that have seen our neighbors been killed and and traumatized.”
But Omar wasn’t done. In another baffling statement, she veered into unrelated territory: “I mean, isn’t it just a sad moment for our country when a member of Congress has to remind the president of the United States that Black people aren’t apes?”
Rep. Ilhan Omar just said this on live television:

She was referring to Al Green holding a sign with the statement.
Omar continued, “I mean, just for a moment…think about that. Al was escorted because he refused to sit down. And I stand with Al. I think it is an important moment in our nation’s history that we have to take stands like that. We have to remind a sitting president that we, Black people, are not apes.”
Everyone must’ve missed the section of Trump’s speech where he called black people apes.
The sign was, in actual fact, a reference to this hoax that everyone quickly forgot about:
This non sequitur highlights the desperation of Democrats grasping at straws to deflect from Trump’s successes. No one mentioned apes except Omar, yet she injected race-baiting into the discourse.
As highlighted in our previous piece, Democrats doubled down post-SOTU, with figures like Debbie Wasserman Schultz calling the speech “revolting” and Mark Kelly deeming it a “disappointment” for supposedly dividing the nation.
Vice President JD Vance called out their cowardice: “’The American government should stand for American citizens, not illegal aliens,’ that shouldn’t be controversial — but apparently, it was to the Democrats.”
These antics expose the left’s hypocrisy: they decry interruptions when Republicans do it but unleash chaos when it suits them. Tlaib and Omar’s behavior during the address – screaming, pointing, and now this alleged “KKK” chant – reveals a deep-seated animosity toward the very country that elevated them.
It’s a low point that even some Democrats privately admit erodes decorum, but the party’s radical wing presses on.
