Secret Service agents wasted no time neutralizing a deadly threat at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, where an armed man in his early 20s breached the secure perimeter carrying a shotgun and fuel can.
This latest incident underscores the ongoing siege against Trump, who has survived multiple attempts on his life since his 2024 campaign.
The event unfolded in the dead of night, around 1:30 a.m. when the intruder was spotted near the north gate of the Palm Beach property. Law enforcement confronted him, and shots rang out, leaving the man dead at the scene. No agents or deputies were injured, and thankfully, no protectees—including President Trump, who was in Washington—were present.
As details emerge from the Secret Service, the agency confirmed: “On February 22, around 1:30 a.m., a male in his early 20s was shot by U.S. Secret Service agents and a deputy from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) following an unauthorized entry into the secure perimeter at Mar-a-Lago.”
The statement continued: “The individual, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced deceased. The individual was observed by the north gate of the Mar-a-Lago property carrying what appeared to be a shotgun and a fuel can.”

“U.S. Secret Service agents and a PBSO deputy confronted the individual and shots were fired by law enforcement during the encounter. No U.S. Secret Service or PBSO personnel were injured. There were no Secret Service protectees present at the location at the time of the incident,” the statement further noted.
“The incident, including the individual’s background, actions, potential motive, and the use of force, is under investigation by the FBI, the U.S. Secret Service, and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. In accordance with agency policy, the involved Secret Service agents will be placed on routine administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation,” the statement concluded.
This comes amid a pattern of violence directed at Trump. In July 2024, Thomas Crooks opened fire at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, grazing Trump’s ear and killing a supporter. Then, in September 2024, Ryan Wesley Routh was caught with a rifle at Trump’s West Palm Beach golf course, later sentenced to life in prison. Now, this shotgun-wielding intruder with a fuel can suggests an intent to cause maximum destruction—perhaps arson or worse.
A joint press conference was held this morning to address the overnight investigation, but early reports offer little beyond the basics. With identity withheld, questions linger: Was this a lone wolf, or part of a broader plot? The fuel can hints at something sinister, like an attempt to torch the iconic estate that symbolizes Trump’s resilience.

The man raised the shotgun to a shooting position — Secret Service and deputies then LIT HIM UP. He's DONE.
FBI is the lead investigative agency.

Mar-a-Lago, often dubbed the “Winter White House,” has been a flashpoint for Trump Derangement Syndrome since his first term. Raids, leaks, and now armed intrusions—it’s a stark reminder of how deranged leftists have become.
