Vance Nukes Slotkin’s ‘Sedition Slip’: “By Definition Illegal”

Trump floats Federal charges

Vice President JD Vance delivered a devastating haymaker Sunday to Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), spotlighting her on-air admission that no illegal orders to the military from President Trump exist—making Democrats’ calls for military mutiny “by definition illegal” and exposing their viral video as pure sedition.

Vance’s Truth bomb escalates the firestorm over the Seditious six’s stunt, with President Trump hinting at 18 U.S.C. 2387 violations and even CBS News dismissing the Democrats’ theater, building on the deep-state drama.

Vance’s unsparing strike read “If the president hasn’t issued illegal orders, them members of Congress telling the military to defy the president is by definition illegal.”

The VP’s retort nails Slotkin’s squirmy confession on ABC’s This Week, where she conceded Trump “has only given ‘lawful’ orders as commander-in-chief”—undercutting the entire premise of their video urging troops to rebel against hypotheticals.

Trump amplified the heat Saturday on Truth Social, appearing to cite 18 U.S.C. 2387—”Activities Affecting Armed Forces Generally”—which criminalizes counseling military disobedience, with penalties up to 10 years in prison.

The post suggests Senate and House Democrats “violated” the statute through their sedition video—a potential cue for Attorney General Pam Bondi to unleash probes.

Trump also reposted the following:

This isn’t abstract lawyering; 2387 targets anyone who “advises, counsels, urges, or attempts to induce” troops to “disobey lawful orders,” fitting the Democrats’ vague calls like a glove.

As we higlighted, the video—led by ex-CIA Slotkin and featuring Democrats Kelly, Crow, Deluzio, and Houlahan—warns of Trump “pitting the military against American citizens” without evidence, prompting White House fury over shattered chain-of-command risks that “could lead to people getting killed.”

Even CBS couldn’t swallow the spin, stunning Crow on “Face the Nation” with allegations from fellow vets that the video is “weakening and corrosive” to the military.

Host Margaret Brennan grilled: “How do you respond to the allegations…from your colleagues, fellow veterans that what you put out there is weakening and corrosive?”

Crow deflected: “They know better. We were very clear in the video that what we are talking about is unlawful orders.”

Brennan pressed: “Specifically what?”

Crow stumbled: “Send troops into polling stations, kill terrorists’ families.”

Brennan urged: “He hasn’t done those things.”

Crow’s flail mirrors an earlier evisceration by Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum, where he admitted no active illegal orders, and that the calls were aimed at “preparing” for fantasies—exposing the stunt as power-clinging desperation.
