Senior Trump advisor Stephen Miller unleashed a blistering assessment of Democrats’ failed strategy in the longest government shutdown in U.S. history, declaring them “Defeated, humiliated and disgraced” after gaining “NOTHING” despite inflicting billions in economic damage.
In a Fox News appearance, Miller highlighted the stark contrast: “In the end, what did Democrats get after over 40 days? NOTHING… But they sucked BILLIONS of dollars in wealth of the economy!”

Miller branded Democrats as “the party of destruction,” while positioning Trump as leading “the party of creation, opportunity and wealth.”
He slammed Democratic leaders for their futile resistance: “Schumer went to the wall and LOST. Hakeem Jeffries went to the wall and LOST. At the end of the day, they could not convince Americans we should shutdown the government for illegal aliens!”

Miller further warned of the party’s radical transformation, stating, “What’s terrifying though…the moderates have been driven OUT of the Democrat Party. Manchin is gone. Sinema is gone. If they don’t toe the line with the leftists, they will be driven out too! We don’t have a moderate Democrat party. We have a party of crazies, leftists and open borders NUT JOBS!”
The “Schumer Shutdown” erupted at the beginning of October, when Democrats blocked a clean funding bill, insisting on amnesty for illegal immigrants and safeguarding Obamacare subsidies that funnel billions to insurance giants.
