Mexican Cartels are working with left-wing terror groups in the US offering thousands of dollars for the assassination of top border officials, according to “credible intelligence” obtained by The Department of Homeland Security.
In a Fox News interview, Border Commander Greg Bovino, who has been a target himself urged “We have criminals ramming vehicles, bringing guns to protests. This is not regular street crime in Chicago!”
“The lethality of these assaults is increasing,” Bovino further noted, adding that “These foreign terrorist networks are using a tiered system of BOUNTIES to go after” agents.

Bovino stressed that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem “has been hardening our ICE facilities,” but that “we are seeing a coordinated, highly organized waging of WAR on our law enforcement in Chicago.”
A DHS press release released Tuesday details that Mexican criminals are working “in coordination with domestic extremist groups” to target federal law enforcement officials.
The release notes that the criminal networks have “issued explicit instructions” to leftist radicals inside the U.S. “to monitor, harass, and assassinate federal agents.”
The release points specifically to gang affiliated “spotter networks” in Chicago.

The intelligence suggests that the spotters, equipped with firearms and radios, are accessing rooftops and monitoring the movements of ICE and CBP agents in order to ambush and disrupt the agents’ actions.

-$2,000 for gathering intelligence or doxxing agents (including photos and family details).
-$5,000–$10,000 for kidnapping or non-lethal assaults on standard ICE/CBP officers.
-Up to $50,000 for the assassination of high-ranking officials.
Our @ICEgov officers are facing more than a 1000% increase in assaults against them.
Under President Trump and @Sec_Noem, EVERY criminal, terrorist, and illegal alien will face American justice.
Noem remarked, “These criminal networks are not just resisting the rule of law, they are waging an organized campaign of terror against the brave men and women who protect our borders and communities.”
She added, “Our agents are facing ambushes, drone surveillance, and death threats, all because they dare to enforce the laws passed by Congress. We will not back down from these threats, and every criminal, terrorist, and illegal alien will face American justice.”
Tricia McLaughlin, spokesperson for DHS, told Fox News that “It’s not just obstruction of justice that we’re seeing. We’re also seeing they’re now handing over intelligence to these cartels, these criminal rings, to go after our law enforcement.”

The DHS is asking the public, particularly residents of Chicago and Portland, to report any suspicious activities, including rooftop surveillance or organized protests that block federal operations.
