Scott Jennings has slammed Jimmy Kimmel after the talk show host returned to air on ABC and attempted to run damage control on the vile remarks that got him kicked off the air for a week.
Kimmel stated “It was never my intention to make light of the murder of a young man… For those who think I did point a finger, I get why you’re upset.”
He added, “I don’t think the murderer who shot Charlie Kirk represents ANYONE. This was a sick person who believed violence was a solution, and it isn’t. Ever.”
Jimmy Kimmel is back on the air tonight. Here's what the late-night host had to say in response to the backlash he received for saying Charlie Kirk's assassin was part of MAGA:

Not an apology is it. Not even close.
Jennings succinctly summarised the situation.
You used the phrase “MAGA gang” & then lied about what happened. You definitely intended to make light of it and mislead the American people. Pathetic. https://t.co/lxVbyCNVUp

Kimmel knew exactly what he was doing when he said the shooter was MAGA.
He knew it wasn't but thats what liars do.

He was running cover.
Perhaps even worse was the fact that Kimmel insinuated it wasn’t his fault that everyone took what he said the wrong way.
So, it’s the viewers fault if they were upset by his words.

What a weasel.
So, it is MAGA’s fault because we took it the wrong way. I didn’t hear I am sorry.

Kimmel also threw in some fake crying to try to get sympathy, and claimed that what Erika Kirk said about forgiving Charlie’s killer “deeply moved” him.
Crocodile tears were a nice touch, if not an unfamiliar one…..but yeah, I don’t buy it.

And he made it about himself stating “Also, selfishly, I am a person who gets a lot of threats. I get many ugly and scary threats against my life, my wife, my kids, my coworkers—because of what I choose to say. I know those threats don’t come from the people on the right who I know and love.”
Absolutely pathetic.
Did I miss the words “ I am sorry” or “ my apologies to Erika and her children?” Kimmel did not misspeak. What he said he said intentionally

Will Sinclair and Nexstar accept this drivel as an apology and start carrying Kimmel again?
This entire thing seems very performative and fake. He knew exactly what he was doing when he said what he said.

They certainly shouldn’t.
President Trump commented on Kimmel, noting “I can’t believe ABC Fake News gave Jimmy Kimmel his job back. The White House was told by ABC that his Show was cancelled! Something happened between then and now because his audience is GONE, and his “talent” was never there.”
Trump added, “Why would they want someone back who does so poorly, who’s not funny, and who puts the Network in jeopardy by playing 99% positive Democrat GARBAGE.”
“He is yet another arm of the DNC and, to the best of my knowledge, that would be a major Illegal Campaign Contribution. I think we’re going to test ABC out on this. Let’s see how we do,” Trump continued.
“Last time I went after them, they gave me $16 Million Dollars. This one sounds even more lucrative. A true bunch of losers! Let Jimmy Kimmel rot in his bad Ratings,” Trump concluded.

Weasel. Good word.
Kimmel has always been a complete degenerate. If you go back to the Man Show, all of the sex pest and blackface skits were his. Corolla carried that show.
