Vice President JD Vance fired back at liberal commentator Brian Krassenstein on X after Krassenstein accused him of endorsing war crimes following a U.S. military strike on a Venezuelan drug boat.
The exchange began when Vance posted, “Killing cartel members who poison our fellow citizens is the highest and best use of our military.” Krassenstein responded, “Killing the citizens of another nation who are civilians without any due process is called a war crime.”
Vance didn’t mince words: “I don’t give a shit what you call it.”

Krassenstein continued pressing, citing international law and claiming the action could constitute extrajudicial killing. He posed a hypothetical scenario asking how Vance would react if Venezuela bombed an American boat carrying drugs.
He also called for Vance to be impeached over the tweet.
I think this thread tells you everything you need to know about JD Vance and the way he views law and order.

Pathetic. He should be impeached for this tweet. https://t.co/nHzMeRTLDx pic.twitter.com/210AJLznov
Reality check for Brian: You can’t impeach an elected official for disagreeing with your leftist opinion.
His comment isn’t about disregarding law and order. It’s about disregarding your opinion about it.

Mocking you doesn’t qualify for impeachment ?

The heated exchange came after President Donald Trump announced Tuesday that the military had struck a drug-carrying vessel from Venezuela in the southern Caribbean Sea. Trump said that 11 people died in the strike, which targeted members of Tren de Aragua, a Venezuelan crime organization the administration recently designated as a foreign terrorist group, CBS News reported. Secretary of State Marco Rubio characterized it as a “lethal strike” against a vessel operated by a “designated narco-terrorist organization.”
When a reporter asked Vance about the strike’s legal authority during a Minneapolis visit Wednesday, he dismissed the concern.
“The legal authority, there are people who are bringing terrorists, who are bringing deadly drugs into our country,” Vance said. “The president of the United States ran on a promise of stopping this poison from coming into our country. Another question?”
The administration has accused Venezuela’s government of working with cartels to traffic narcotics into the United States.

More news on our radar

Brian needs to visit the morgues of large American cities. Casualties of war.
Make him roll the bodies into the furnace. He will start using himself.
Yes, blowing up boats in international waters without and due process or declaration of war is in fact criminal. No amount of spin in this article can change that. Vance is savagely nuked.
This type of thing is exactly why the U.S. is hated in other parts of the world.
A boat heading for the US carrying illegal drugs and persons is an invading force and they deserve what they got. This will also stop or reduce any others thinking they can just head on over to our country with impunity.
Vulgar language as become common in political discourse as of late.
Yes, I don’t like it and personally strive to eliminate all use of profanity. It generally masks a lack of vocabulary and ability for clear expression.
