Vice President JD Vance held nothing back Wednesday as he described the media as “disgraceful” for attempting to sabotage President Trump’s efforts to bring an end to the horrific war in Ukraine.
During a Q&A at Union Station in DC with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, Vance was asked by a reporter for thoughts on establishment media criticisms of Trump’s peace push.
“I think the president campaigned on being a president of peace. He’s already ended six wars; he’s trying to end another,” Vance responded as screeching leftists could be heard in the background.

“I think it’s kind of disgraceful that the American media is attacking the president for trying to bring peace to the world,” Vance continued.
“Most importantly, the president is trying to bring peace to the streets of our own cities,” Vance noted, shifting the focus back to the operation against rampant crime in the Democrat run capital city.

“I really can’t overemphasize this enough. It’s the greatest country in the world. We’ve got moms and dads and young families; shouldn’t they be able to enjoy public spaces without vagrants taking away basic public safety from the American citizenry?” Vance urged.
“The fact that it’s taken so long to bring common decency and law and order back to Washington, DC, is an indictment of a generation of failed leadership,” the VP further asserted.
“I hope these guys know how grateful we are that they’re doing the job that so many failed to do. They’re actually keeping the city safe. We’re proud of you and we’re grateful to you,” Vance said to national guard troops flanking him in the station.
“We’re gonna come and say thank you to the National Guard folks, to the cops for actually keeping this place safe,” Vance also noted, adding “If you look at what’s happened in Washington, DC, in just the past nine days, we’ve seen a 35 percent reduction in violent crime. We’ve seen over a 50 percent reduction in robberies. We’re seeing really substantial effects because these guys are busting their ass.”
Earlier, Vance and Hegseth ridiculed and laughed at leftist protesters for believing that “people don’t deserve law and order in their own community.”

Miller also blasted the protesters, labeling them “crazy communists” and “stupid white hippies” who need to take naps because they’re so old.
