Sources have informed the Washington Post that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard pushed back against recommendations from CIA and other intelligence officials to declassify a version of sensitive documents with only light redactions, exposing aspects of the Obama-era creation of the Trump-Russia collusion story.
With backing from President Donald Trump, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, and Attorney General Pam Bondi, Gabbard released a previously classified report from the House Intelligence Committee last month. However, insiders noted that certain intelligence community figures advocated for more extensive blackouts in the material.
In other words, the Deep State is terrified of the fallout.

Gabbard described the 46-page document as uncovering further evidence of “the most egregious weaponization and politicization of intelligence in American history.”
This came shortly after she made public secret exchanges among high-ranking Obama administration officials that set the stage for the extended investigation into Trump and Russia.
In her announcement last month, the DNI stated:
Per President @realDonaldTrump‘s directive, I have declassified a @HouseIntel oversight majority staff report that exposes how the Obama Administration manufactured the January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment that they knew was false, promoting the LIE that Vladimir Putin and the Russian government helped President Trump win the 2016 election.
In doing so, they conspired to subvert the will of the American people, working with their partners in the media to promote the lie, in order to undermine the legitimacy of President Trump, essentially enacting a years-long coup against him.
Gabbard highlighted five major revelations from the report, such as claims that ex-CIA Director John Brennan and associates “fabricated the Russia Hoax, suppressed intelligence showing Putin was preparing for a Clinton victory, manufactured findings from shoddy sources, disobeyed IC standards, and knowingly lied to the American people.”
An insider involved in the proceedings explained to the Washington Post that the “CIA put forward their proposed redactions and edits to the document,” yet Gabbard “has greater declassification authority than all other intelligence elements and is not required to get their approval prior to release.”
The source added that Trump endorsed the release “with minimal redactions and no edits.”
A spokesperson for the CIA indicated that Ratcliffe “strongly supports” the document’s disclosure, even though he was aware of opposition within his organization—though specifics on what they sought to conceal remain unknown.
In response, Democratic Sen. Mark Warner of Virginia, who serves as the ranking member on the Senate Intelligence Committee, labeled the action “desperate and irresponsible” in comments to the publication:
“The desperate and irresponsible release of the partisan House Intelligence report puts at risk some of the most sensitive sources and methods our Intelligence Community uses to spy on Russia and keep Americans safe,” Warner claimed, adding “And in doing so, Director Gabbard is sending a chilling message to our allies and assets around the world: the United States can no longer be trusted to protect the intelligence you share with us.”
As we highlighted last week, a former CIA operations officer has warned that Deep State operatives who concocted the fake Russia collusion narrative under then Director John Brennan are still active inside the agency.
Gabbard went on to accuse former President Barack Obama of orchestrating a “treasonous conspiracy” against Trump after the files were unveiled.
Meanwhile, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) suggested that lawmakers might issue a subpoena for Obama over his alleged role in collaborating with spy agencies to link Trump to Russia in 2016, remarking, “I think we have a responsibility to follow the truth, where it leads.”
Trump himself addressed the matter bluntly to journalists in the Oval Office: “He’s guilty. It’s not a question, you know, I like to say, ‘Let’s give it time.’ It’s there. He’s guilty… This was treason. This was every word you can think of. They tried to steal the election. They tried to obfuscate the election.”

Following Bondi’s referral of the discoveries to the Justice Department, she revealed plans for a dedicated task force to probe the collusion narrative.
Representatives for Obama have rejected the allegations as “outrageous” and “bizarre.”
Gabbard has remarked that she is “not surprised” by the establishment media’s silence on the bombshell revelations from the declassified documents, emphasizing how the mainstream press has gone quiet despite the exposure of the full extent of the hoax.
Gabbard has forwarded a criminal referral to the DOJ targeting Obama officials involved in the conspiracy, highlighting her assertion that there is no logical explanation for their failures and accusing them of the weaponizing intelligence.
The DNI also recently revealed that ‘Operation Mockingbird’ is still ongoing inside the CIA and she is actively trying to Shut it Down.
“There are people in the intelligence community who believe their will is more important than the will of the American people,” Gabbard urged, adding “They weaponize intelligence by leaking it to their friends in the media with the intent of undermining President Trump’s agenda.”

I’m not sure if any of these criminals involved in this attempted treasonous coup will go to prison, but I can always hope.
I don’t usually have a very positive opinion of politicians, but up to this point, until proven otherwise, Tulsi has good character and values and is deserving of considerable respect for her integrity in the face of the msm and deep state.
