As a UK citizen, I am disgusted with the government. I did not vote for Comrade Starmer and this was not in the Labour Party manifesto, so even those who did vote for them didn’t vote for this. I suppose this is to make up for the fact that when we bankrupt ourselves trying to achieve the futile ‘net zero’ targets – insanity, because the UK contributes less than 1% of global man made CO2, we (read: megalomaniac Ed Miliband) will be able to say we made a huge impact on ‘climate change’.
Ed Miliband, for our US friends, makes your Al Gore look reasonable.
Once again they say, “we’re not doing that, you’re crazy” then they say “maybe it is happening but it’s not what you think”, then they say “okay, it’s exactly what you think, but it’s for your own good”, lastly they say ” okay it’s horrible for you and the environment, but we’re doing it regardless”
