In The Dead Of Night: Supreme Court BLOCKS Trump From Deporting Illegal Aliens

“They literally just did this after midnight”

The U.S. Supreme Court issued a decision early Saturday morning, temporarily halting President Trump’s attempt to deport Venezuelan nationals under The Alien Enemies Act of 1798.

The ACLU, representing the plaintiffs, sought an emergency injunction from the Supreme Court after learning that detained immigrants were being prepared for deportation. The case is currently before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

In an unsigned order, the Supreme Court granted the ACLU’s request, pausing the deportation of numerous Venezuelans held at the Bluebonnet Detention Center in Texas pending the Fifth Circuit’s ruling.

The ACLU’s petition, filed for two unidentified Venezuelan men, argues that the government’s actions violate the Supreme Court’s April 7, 2025, ruling in Trump v. J.G.G., which requires detainees to receive proper notice and an opportunity to contest their deportation under the AEA.

The plaintiffs contend that the administration is acting too hastily, issuing notices solely in English and neglecting to inform detainees of their right to judicial review.

They further claim that certain detainees were wrongly labeled as gang members due to their tattoos and social media activity.

The filing states:

“Yesterday, on April 18, 2025, the district court denied the proposed class’s application for a temporary restraining order staying their removal under the AEA, principally on the ground that the government represented that it would not seek to remove two named class members, A.A.R.P. and W.M.M., while their habeas petition is pending.

However, after the district court’s order and starting last night, counsel for Applicants and the proposed class of individuals subject to removal under the AEA 2 were informed that numerous Venezuelan nationals currently in the government’s custody in the Northern District of Texas have received notices that they are subject to removal under the AEA, and further were informed by government officials that they may be removed from the United States as soon as this afternoon or tomorrow. DHS has now publicly announced that AEA removals are imminent.”

The ACLU states “Plaintiffs learned that the government has begun giving notices of removal to class members, in English only, which do not say how much time individuals have to contest their removal or even how to do so… And officers last night told class members that they will be removed within 24 hours, which expires as early as this afternoon. Upon information and belief, individuals have already been loaded on to buses.”

The Supreme court effectively put everything on hold, without granting or denying the application filed by the detainees’ attorneys.

The order outlines how Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito strongly dissented from the majority ruling.

Trump wants to fast-track deportations of Venezuelan nationals with suspected ties to criminal organizations. Using The Alien Enemies Act, an emergency authority, would have expedited the removal of illegals without the need for court hearings or asylum reviews.

Democrats are big mad that President Trump wants to continue using a law signed by founding father John Adams to expel terrorist criminal gang members from the country.

Let that sink in.

  2. Appoint me immigration judge. I will be happy to give each claimant 2 minutes to present their case for their right to claim amnesty and deny it for lying about their standing. I will be happy to work 10 hour days…so 30 cases per hour times 10 hours = 300 per day x 5 days = 1500 per week. Potato and commie kammie and filth mayporkus really screwed…. us we could not get them all deported in 12 years of Trump and Vance. So I guess it is strip them of every incentive to stay and hope many self deport.

  3. When they do stupid things like this it only helps Trump expose the corruption. People are fed up with it.

    1. Talk about irrelevant.

Besides, are you really that dumb that you want gang criminals in your country? You bleeding heart liberals make me sick. Deportation is exactly what is needed.

      1. The irony of what you just said. You do realise that a person who is dumb is a person who does not have the ability to speak? Now that you know what dumb actually means, read back what you just typed to yourself and your intended insult will only show that you are projecting. I dont play divide and conquer bud, thats your job. Im neither conservative or liberal or anything thing else that your you might conjure up. The reality is that all that is going on right now cannot be stopped, its too late. Its over and where you are right now, starmer is going to completely destroy your country. There is only one way of protecting yourself now and it s nothing you have the capability of doing. London is already londanistan and the rest of the uk will be gobbled up soon because individuals like you hide behind your keyboard. In order to understand what is going on requires intelligence which seems to be amiss in yourself.
