Head of The Department for Government Efficiency Elon Musk says that they discovered something so beyond comprehension that he had to read it over several times before he could wrap his head around it.
On Wednesday, DOGE announced findings from an initial survey of unemployment insurance claims dating back to 2020, uncovering three unbelievable statistics relating to unemployment fraud.
DOGE found $382 million worth of employment benefits fraud, but that wasn’t the craziest thing:
- 24,500 people over 115 years old claimed $59 million in benefits.
- 28,000 people under the age of five claimed $254 million in benefits.
- 9,700 people with birth dates over 15 years in the future claimed $69 million in benefits. In one case, a person with a birthday in 2154 who claimed $41,000 in benefits.

Presumably this was the “horrible” thing that Trump referenced earlier in the week.
As the discoveries of fraud continue, people want to start seeing arrests and prosecutions.
This is why @DOGE should have teams of FBI Agents and DOJ attorneys embedded with them. Find the fraud, identify what government person or individuals did it, the start charging them. Look for overlap into multiple agencies.
