A man is being investigated by police in Wales after a tweet reposted by Elon Musk accused the Welsh Refugee Council of using 12-year-old schoolgirls in an ad to “entice migrant men to come to Wales.”
The original video, posted by the Welsh Refugee Council (WRC) in 2023, shows a group of girls in school uniforms explaining why Wales is a welcoming place for migrants.
“Wales is seen as a nation of sanctuary, we welcome anyone and everyone,” states one of the girls in the video clip, which gives advice on how migrants can be helped in obtaining welfare benefits, applying for bank accounts and getting medical treatment.

Following sustained outrage over the grooming gangs scandal in the UK, the video went viral again on X over the weekend after it was shared by Elon Musk.
“In Wales, the Welsh Refugee Council is using 12-year-old girls in ads meant to entice migrant men to come to Wales. Most members of this council are from the Middle East, India and Pakistan. I think I’m going to throw up,” stated the tweet.
After Musk reposting the tweet ensured it went viral and was seen millions of times, the WRC claimed its members were being “harassed” in the form of abuse and racist comments directed towards them
The WRC said it took “false and defamatory statements seriously”, while the Welsh government condemned those who posted the video as being “utterly irresponsible”.
According to the BBC, South Wales Police are now investigating the matter.
“An allegation of malicious communications was reported at around 11.30pm on Saturday January 11 concerning a post on the social media platform ‘X’,” said South Wales Police.
“The matter is being looked into by South Wales Police.”
The individual who posted the viral tweet also confirmed he was under investigation by the authorities.
“I am currently being investigated by South Wales Police for my post about the Welsh Refugee Council using young girls to entice migrants who want to move to Wales. I do not live in Britain, but they might try to extradite me for this. This is peak insanity,” he commented.

Responding to the controversy, the former leader of the Welsh Conservatives in the Senedd, Andrew RT Davies, accused Labour Welsh government ministers of using schoolchildren as “propaganda”, to promote an “ideologically motivated project”.
Davies said it was “highly inappropriate for a political organisation to be going into schools and using children in propaganda like this.”

There’s a lot of people being ‘investigated’ and imprisoned for telling or exposing inconvenient truths. Sadly, the actual criminals in local and national government, the police and the CPS will probably never see justice – unless there is some kind of revolution. Given recent events in the UK, that’s no longer unthinkable. Something bad is going to happen.
Then why include photos of young girls?
Perhaps a 5-kiloton nuclear device detonating above the center of British government when parliament is in session would be a blessing for the Brits?
Like a modern day Guy Fawkes? I’m sure it would make an immense improvement to our country – just need to get the innocent civilians out of the way first. Better be careful what I write: despite the obvious impossibility of me attaining a nuclear device, the security services will be knocking down my door.
Soooo let me understand this……the police find 7 Pakistani men in an apartment with a drunk 12 year old girl and they arrest the girl for public intoxication…[none of the men charged for providing alcohol to the girl….neve mind what else they may have done] …but they are “investigating” this guy for pointing out the “Welcome to Wales” ads feature 12 year old little girls. I don’t know,,,,,sounds to me like HM government and police are in fact pimping the 12 year old girls to get more Muslim migrants.
The entire British political class has to be wxterminated by torturous public execution and every last non-European immigrant of 100 years forcefully deported.
