President Trump has called for a stop to be put to the Biden Administration selling off vast swathes of unused border wall sections at auction for as little as $5 a piece, calling it “crazy.”
As we highlighted last week, the wall sections, which have been laying on the ground unused for years due to Biden halting construction, are being hauled away on the back of flatbed trucks from a section of the border just south of Tucson.
Up to half a mile of unused wall is being moved every day, according to a Border Patrol agent.

“Joe Biden keeps talking about a smooth transition and unified government, and yet he races to sell desperately needed border wall for pennies on the dollar,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post Friday.
He continued, “It will cost the U.S. a fortune, and time, to get the exact same wall to replace what has been sold, and the new wall will cost triple the price.”
“It is CRAZY, and must be stopped,” Trump further asserted.
The sell-off of the wall sections appears to be part of a sabotage effort to prevent Trump from immediately securing the border. The loss of the resources will mean the government will have to purchase more, and therefore may have to request additional funding through congress.
Trump wasn’t the only one calling out this craziness, with Senator Eric Schmitt of Missouri penning a letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin last week.
“I am writing to demand that you immediately cease the auctioning off of border wall materials,” Schmitt wrote, adding “Senate Republicans, including the incoming Chairman, as well as my colleagues on the Senate Armed Services have raised the absurdity of selling border wall materials through letters, nomination hearings, and through the National Defense Authorization Act legislative process.”
“While recouping less than 0.02% of taxpayer money used to secure these materials, the Biden Administration is sabotaging the incoming Trump Administration just weeks ahead of President Trump’s inauguration,” Schmitt further urged.
He added, “These border wall materials will cost tens of thousands of U.S. taxpayer dollars to replace and will be critical to stem the record flow of millions of illegal immigrants who were welcomed across our border during the Biden Administration.”

If Biden is the person who has issued the order to sell then replacement sections should be charged to him personally and not the taxpayers. After all, he’s worth many hundreds of millions and must be made to pay up.
He should also be arrested on charges of Treason Sedition and Subversion as well.
Someone online said the fencing that federal taxpayers are paying to truck away from the border may not be sold yet or be going to auction. He said that even if they just get the materials far away from where the fence will be built, it will then be another obstacle that Trump will have to overcome and find money to pay for. If the Biden administration’s sabotage of our nation’s security sometimes seemed passive (letting bad things happen), this is an example of active sabotage. What would happen to a treasonous federal government official who actively sabotaged our military defenses in order to aid a foreign army’s invasion?
