As the war in Ukraine escalates, thanks to the Biden administration insanely lifting restrictions on allowing the country to fire US long range missiles into Russia, Sweden is sending out pamphlets advising citizens how they should prepare for nuclear war.
That doesn’t bode well.
The Daily Mail reports “Sweden is sending out five million pamphlets to residents urging them to prepare for the possibility of war, with instructions on how to stockpile food and even seek shelter during a nuclear attack, as fears grow of a conflict between Russia and NATO.”
The report notes that the pamphlets, titled ‘If Crisis or War Comes’, are being distributed by the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) and advise that “we must prepare for the worst.”
The material states “The global security situation increases the risks that nuclear weapons could be used. In the event of an attack with nuclear, biological or chemical weapons, take cover in the same way as in an air attack.”
The pamphlet further advises what to do after a nuke has detonated, noting “Shelter provides the best protection,” adding that people should head for basements or subways if there is no better option, and that “after a couple of days, the radiation has decreased significantly.”

This is a continuation of an ongoing move by the government in the country to put citizens on a war footing.
Following the Biden announcement, Ukraine is reported to have launched long range missiles at a target inside Russia, in the border region of Bryansk.
Bloomberg reports “Ukraine deployed ATACMS missiles to strike a military facility in the western Bryansk region, RBC Ukraine reported on Tuesday, citing an official in the nation’s military. It was the first known attack following the decision by President Joe Biden’s administration to approve Kyiv’s limited use of the weapons to hit targets inside Russia.”

As we highlighted earlier this week, Russia is furious about the development, and Putin has repeatedly stated that such a move would mean NATO countries are at war with Russia.
Kremlin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov also told the state-run Tass news service that“The Russian Federation retains the right to use nuclear weapons in the case of aggression using conventional weapons against it’ that poses a critical threat to sovereignty or territorial integrity.”
The country has also updated its nuclear doctrine to reflect the new threat.

Despite the obvious provocation, Putin isn’t sending any ICBMs anytime soon. He knows to do so is suicidal. He might test a nuke to send a stronger warning, but he is waiting for Trump because Russia is broke and wants an out – sanctions lifted and gas flowing again. China sure as hell does not want WW3 and they have quite a large influence on Vlad.
ATACMs (long range) were fired long before this month, just without the headlines. Seems a bit stupid of the UK to ‘sign’ our missiles with the actual words, Storm Shadow. Putin will almost certainly up the cyber attacks and other ‘hybrid’ methods, just not expecting any mushroom clouds. If I’m wrong, there won’t be anyone left to tell me ‘told you so’.
Imagine that, the Scandinavian countries that chose to remain “neutral” against Nazi’s during WWII while fencing the gold teeth and assets of people put to death in concentration camps, thanks to the likes of Soros, now want your kids to die in WWIII for the same Nazi’s fighting Russia again.

USA condemns Russian actions on their borders. I feel compelled to remind our “leaders” about the USA engaging Spain, Cuba, Vietnam, Korea, the several “Banana Republics” to our south and many other incidents such as Grenada, etc. Dig into the Web and get away from Western elite-owned media and it is possible to get a differing look at Ukraine/Russia affairs. It is not as cut-and-dried as the West oligarchs plutocrats make it out to be.
Leave NATO and you don’t disintegrate and save a ton of money.
