Jimmy Kimmel cried, or pretended to cry, during a monologue on his talk show Wednesday night, pontificating from his TV studio on how awful it is for everyone including “immigrants who make the country go,” and “Ukraine” that president Trump scored a landslide victory for a second term.
Kimmel complained for nine long minutes following a skit showing the host packing his bags and claiming he was leaving the country.
He then claimed that Trump had a “list of enemies” and assumed that he is on it, declaring that America “chose the criminal” to become president.
“More than half of this country voted for the criminal who’s planning to pardon himself for his crimes. I guess this election wasn’t rigged,” Kimmel spewed.
Then he went full meltdown.

“Let’s be honest. It was a terrible night last night, it was a terrible night for women, for children,” he began.
“For hundreds and thousands of hardworking immigrants who make this country go…”Kimmel continued, beginning to literally cry.

He carried on listing everything that Trump is ‘bad’ for including “For healthcare, for our climate, for science, for journalism, for justice, for free speech.”

“For democracy and decency. And you know it was a terrible night for those who voted against him,” Kimmel further wailed, adding “Guess what, it was a bad night for everyone who voted for him too, you just don’t realise it yet.”
And he still has no idea that he and his late night buddies are part of the problem and helped get Trump elected again. Cry harder Jimmy.

Meanwhile, Stephen Colbert decided not to pretend cry, but to act all angry instead, claiming that the majority of Americans “don’t care that much about democracy.”
