Staff at Wembley Stadium will be trained to watch out for ‘strange people’ during five consecutive Taylor Swift concerts in London later this week following a plot by Islamic terrorists to attack a Swift gig in Vienna, Austria.
The pop star was set to perform a series of concerts at the Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium last week, but the events were cancelled after Austrian authorities busted a plot by two jihadists to commit acts of terror.
A 19-year-old of Macedonian origin planned to “kill himself and a large crowd at the concert,” according to Omar Haijawi-Pirchner, the head of Austria’s Directorate of State Security and Intelligence.
Chemicals and technical devices that were part of “concrete preparatory actions” for the attack were found during a search of the suspect’s home.
With Swift set to perform for five consecutive nights in London later this week, Wembley Stadium has reportedly upped security over fears of a copycat plot.
Ben Knott, who is the operations director at FGH Security, told TMZ that security staff will be trained to “look for strange people in the crowd” and that “if someone’s scanning the area for cameras and police, that would be a sign something’s not right, and security would approach.”
Stadium bosses have also reportedly hired a counter-terrorism specialist to oversee the security operation.
However, such surveillance will presumably have to extend to observing the behavior of security staff themselves, given that one of jihadists who planned to attack the event in Vienna was reportedly hired as a security guard for the concert.
In 2017, an Islamic terrorist who arrived in the UK as a refugee carried out a suicide bombing at the Manchester Arena during an Ariana Grande concert, killing and injuring dozens of children.
It was subsequently revealed that security guards witnessed Salman Abedi acting suspiciously, but decided not to act because they ‘feared being called racist’.
Meanwhile, British police will continue to devote much of their resources to arresting people who make spicy comments about mass immigration on social media following the recent riots.

I wonder if Taylor Swift is into giving herself to a gang of Muslim terrorists to whom she sympathizes…
“Strange People”? So that’s everyone whop attends the concerts then – even the ‘Golden Calf’ herself.
Who, not ‘whop’. Why isn’t it possible to edit comments?
Hmmmmmm.
Isn’t “strange” Hebrew for “White”!?
they can start with the person singing on stage and her surrounding degenerates if someone is looking for “strange people”… Pretty self serving request.
