An image of Donald Trump’s right ear without a bandage has prompted leftists to resume with suggestions that he wasn’t really hit by a bullet.
The image, taken from an interview Tuesday, shows Trump has some light bruising around the top of the ear.
Aside from this, the ear is intact.
This immediately sent deranged ‘Eargate’ truthers into a spin.
And a picture taken yesterday of trump's ear shows no scars scarring, stitches, or wound….hmmmmm

Comments by the ignorant who’ve never shot anything. Easily possible for his ear to look like that now. The bullet wouldn’t “blow his ear off.” Ears are pretty thin. More like poke a 5.56mm hole in it and keep on going. Not enough tissue there to fragment or expand a bullet.
Correct. There is nothing there to which the bullet could transfer much of any energy. If it doesn’t hit anything with enough mass to slow the bullet, then no energy is transferred, and the only damage will be a hole. Basic science. Though even just a hole is deadly if it hits vital organs, arteries, etc. Thinking about my earlier comments, this correction is in order, because even the type of round is not as significant in this case, considering it just hit an ear lobe. There’s not enough mass there to cause even a lead bullet to expand or lose form on impact. It might make a slightly bigger hole. But jacketed vs unjacketed isn’t as significant in this case.

A while back, my nephew shot a deer with his AR, through the stomach. It took a minute to find the bullet hole. I believe it would depend on the type of round, but the metal jacket .223 makes a small wound through soft tissue. In this case, sign of a small hole through the soft tissue of the ear about 1/8 inch in diameter is about all I’d expect to see, since it had been healing for 11+ days, as of last night when the photo was taken. And that is clearly visible in the picture. As is discoloration from bruising.
The younger boys he hunts with do things differently than I was taught. They aim for the stomach on purpose, because there’s less wasted meat. I figure, well if you’re young enough, and in good enough shape to chase it down, not quit until you find it, and to drag it out by yourself, that’s not necessarily a bad idea. In the case of that deer, it ran for about 100 yards after being shot in the stomach.
That AR 15 platform accommodates calibers from .17 to .300. Not all AR 15s are 22s.
It has been reported that it was a .223. My nephew’s is also a .223.
As I said, the damage done mostly depends on the type round. Whether it’s full jacket, hollow point, etc. As well as whether or not it hits soft tissue, bone, etc.
In other words, Trump was shot. It was a bullet. The wound is consistent with that of a bullet. And democrats claiming some sort of conspiracy otherwise are ignorant idiots.
I’m no expert, but I have seen first hand what a jacketed .223 does to soft tissue. The entry wound is a very small hole.

Sounds like you don’t know anything about ballistics; the usual round in an AR style rifle is a .223 and travels fast enough that it makes its own path through most anything, even light gauge metal. If you are lucky enough to have a body part just barely in the path of the projectile it would yield a superficial wound, not necessarily a hole, more like a deep scratch. If you were, on the other hand, unlucky, it would put a hole in any part of your body.
