An eyewitness to the attempted assassination of Donald Trump told NBC News that security, particularly on rooftops, was noticeably lax compared to a previous Trump rally he had attended nearby four years earlier.
Robert D. Philpot said he attended a Trump rally at the Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport during the previous presidential campaign and immediately noted that the location had a lot of buildings similar to those from where the shooter took aim during yesterday’s attack.
“Every rooftop of every hanger had three, four five guys on top,” said Philpot, noting that armed Secret Service and law enforcement were everywhere.
“First thing I did when I got here yesterday, was I did a complete look around at every rooftop and I said to myself that’s strange, I don’t see one cop, sniper, nothing, I don’t see anything, and I just thought that was kind of weird,” said Philpot.
The eyewitness said it was “so noticeable” that the security was so lax for yesterday’s event compared to the one he attended four years prior.
Philpot added that it was “strange” because there’s “all kinds of buildings” where a potential shooter could have been located.
The Trump supporter said he was still in shock as to why and how the incident happened.
As we document below, there are numerous questions swirling as to why Secret Service took minutes to take out the shooter after being alerted to him by the crowd.

I read elsewhere, that Jill Biden was campaigning in Pittsburgh yesterday AND that a bunch of President Trump’s SS detail was diverted to increase her security.
Might the Biden’s Administration’s call for DEI in every federal agency have a part? I couldn’t help but notice the unusually high percentage of women Secret Service agents with pony tails swinging. They could only hug Trump around his waist as he towered above them. That is not the protection our President deserves. I’d rather see former Navy Seals and military protecting Trump …you know, men the American people can trust, who are man enough to take strong action and have the experience to do so. I want men who care about our Country and our Constitution. We have plenty of evidence that there is no federal agency we can trust to do the right thing. Every security expert I’ve read has expressed concerns about the lax security. Pray for our Country and President Trump.

November 22, 1963 – lax security all over JFK’s route in Dallas – he’s shot and killed.
July 13, 2024 – lax security with Trump shot, assassination attempt and lightly wounded.
Is there a pattern here when political opponents are desperate? Just infiltrate the secret service with the right people; or failing that, just change some protective procedures for presidents, or candidates.
Well, Duh! That’s the difference between protecting the President of the US, protecting a former president and a civilian candidate. Every venue has different logistical defensive needs.

No, every one has the same rules and standards per the specifics. They let the shooter take his shots. The only other possible answer is diversity hiring. But, even at that, they did not follow the rules or standards.
Trump’s SS detail has been compromised for many months, they were simply waiting for this particular event because of the strategic placement of the stage in relation to the rooftop. This is how the deep state (CIA , in this case) operates. This is what the USA has become. I’m glad I grew up when I did, and not the twisted, morally vacant, satanic, fascist place now referred to as the USA.
Not somethim you would expect from a high-tech operation like the secret service but secret service is a branch of the DHS. Secretary Mayorkas is the top Marxist in that outfit.
