Humza Yousaf Declares That Graffiti Justifies Wild Hate Crime Laws

Says dawbings aimed at him are example of why ‘zero tolerance’ policies are necessary

Scottish First Minister Humza Yousaf has declared that extreme new hate crime laws that have come into effect in the country are justified because of graffiti about him near his home.

The graffiti was reportedly sprayed on three walls in Dundee, and was quickly painted over by the local council.

Yousaf posted the following on X, stating that “we must, collectively, take a zero-tolerance approach to hatred.”

An SNP spokesman parroted Yousaf, noting “This graffiti was sickening and completely unacceptable, it is a reminder why we need to take a zero-tolerance approach to hatred.”

The Telegraph reports that “Although offences involving stirring up racial hatred have existed since 1986, he suggested the graffiti helped make the case for his new hate crime laws.”

The backlash online was immediate:

The Hate Crime and Public Order (Scotland) Act 2021, which came into force yesterday, created a new crime of “stirring up hatred” relating to age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, transgender identity or being intersex.

Even speech deemed merely to be “insulting” towards such groups could be punished by up to seven years in prison.

During their training program on enforcing the new law, police officers were taught that even the content of plays and comedy gigs should be considered as potential hate crimes.

Many have asserted that merely retweeting a Ricky Gervais joke about transgender people could amount to a hate crime in Scotland.

As we earlier highlighted, an SNP minister has admitted that the likes of author JK Rowling could be prosecuted for “misgendering” trans people under the law.

Innumerable people are fighting back against the law by reporting Yousaf himself to the police for his infamous anti-white rant.

  1. If it’s anything like the ‘racist’ graffiti found in the US I’d say it was faked. 99% of that garbage had been done by the ‘victim’ so they can cry ‘RACIST!’ and try to pass crap laws or get some sort of payout. Pay attention people and remember the stupid crap they’ll try (Jussie Smollett ring a bell?)

  2. It doesn’t seem to occur to the pushers of these laws that there’s nothing more hateful than punishing people merely for expressing their opinions. Yes, even if those opinions include disrespect of someone else. Responding to words with prison sentences is the action of a tyranny.

  3. Fuck off…and get out of our country. You don’t belong here.

Oh, and fuck the Scotland pussy police.

  4. White people!
Not only do they give away their Homelands to Foreign Nazis, they
    ELECT them to rule them!
    Stupid is as stupid does!
April 8 comes as no surprise to me!
Time for all cowards to get what they deserve!

  5. “Scottish First Minister Humza Yousaf has declared that extreme new hate crime laws that have come into effect in the country are justified because of racist graffiti about him near his home.” All this from a man who isn’t even Scottish.

  6. I’ve not seen what was written, but he must have expected some backlash from his crazy new law. Would have loved to see his reaction if Spitting Image was still running.

  7. Well I hate to say it, but he WAS voted in so self-loathing liberal white people are getting their wish. America is no different either.

    1. Actually, he wasn’t voted in by the Scottish population (just like Sunak wasn’t voted in by the UK population). Both of these cretins were HANDED their positions of power by their respective MPs. Neither has any mandate to run the country or the Union.
