X owner Elon Musk hit back at leftists complaining that he is right wing by outlining his “centrist” political views, highlighting how far the Overton window has shifted.
Responding to a post noting how crazy it is that the man developing rocket ships to take the human race to another planet is being attacked, Musk declared that he is in “a battle to the death with the anti-civilizational woke mind virus.”
He then laid out a few key political stances he believes in, asking how they can possibly be perceived as “right wing.”
In modernity world these things are now all right wing.

Developing rocket ships ‘to take the human race to another planet’ is supposed to exempt from attack? Ffs I can think of a lot (of) better things to focus on more than that, even regarding space. And a ‘battle to the death’? When he actually dies or even close we can take that seriously, meantime those of us who actually have done the latter at least can continue to suffer in the same death-promoting conditions while the likes of Elon can continue to throw X billions at their latest fancy, whilst NOT investing in a bunch of stuff that might actually make a real difference to preserving anything of real worth to most people, including life itself, beyond the empty ‘right to free speech’ (on X at least) from a position of increasing poverty and pain. It’s all very fine that he’s not/anti-‘woke’, but the pose of being just another battler in the good fight (right-style) is a bit rich to say the least, same goes for Trump to the extent he affects that pose at all, and any others such. The reality is, the mega-rich are living it up at our collective common expense, while we slide into the grave, often enough in agony at that. A very strong reason to support some sort of ‘socialism’, so long as it’s not ‘woke’. Elon seems not so bad personally, and far less of an exploitative asshole than many of his peers, but this whole spectacle of the elites (especially ‘Western’) and their games makes me and many others sick to the core. Especially when they misuse and waste their wealth and privilege as they generally do, even Elon to some degree. They have already squandered tremendous opportunities in their self-obsessed smugness, and vast numbers have paid the price for it, even the ultimate in earthly terms, including some known to me. It’s reaching the point where it really might be better that the whole planet be vaporized, both to release the masses (and animals) from increasing torment, and to annihilate their tormenting class once and for all. As it’s going, it’s an increasing prospect at an accelerating rate.
As for (Western) ‘civilization’, as Gandhi said, ‘it would be a good idea’. The reality is, we still have not ever attained something really worthy of the title, though in some respects we occasionally came vaguely close, if imperfectly. America sure as fvck does not represent it, for all its impostures. Actually, it is still a despicable barbarism, by a Higher Standard. Not that rivals are much if at all better. Some small nations/societies of modest ambitions are closer to the mark, but the big ones (America especially) pressure them strongly to adopt the same uncivilization that they so monstrously embody. Not so long to go now before The Price is Paid, one way or another.
Those ‘elites’ are increasingly a redundant obstacle to anything really necessary or worthwhile. If the top 1% or so disappeared in a puff of smoke, we would likely be much better off overall, despite some individual exceptions. We here alone have far more and more important ideas even tech-wise than practically the lot put together, certainly than Musk and his ‘tech pals’, to available evidence, but without their practicallty monopolized energy, connections, backing, resources, opportunity, and fortune (in either sense), it’s not possible to get any out of the starting gate, other than to hand them over up-front wholesale to their likes and hope vainly for some crumbs from proven and innate crumb-hoarders, and worse, not going to happen, ever, least of all at this late stage, We will see them burn in Armageddon and Judgement first, and by God it’s not far off now, from so many Factors and Vectors that it will soon enough overwhelm anything those clown-crooks can muster by many multiples, especially as, their preparations are laughable to non-existent for things that often take years-decades to develop and implement, in cultural, organizational, political, and technical senses, and that time is just about gone. Meantime they are actually building global and species destruction in many converging forms like crazed lemmings charging for the cliff-edge. You blew it fools! We have been Warning you for a decade at least now to complete non-responsive futility, and almost died more than once in the process, whilst others close actually have, now comes the Mega Payload-payoff for y’all, and it ain’t gonna be pretty! Hurry up on those rocket ships to Mars Elon, a one-way last-ditch death-shot is about the best you are likely to get now, if they can velocity-escape the coming mushroom clouds (thermonuke just one variety) and doom-detonating equivalent/s in time!
