Google AI Would Not Misgender Caitlyn Jenner to Prevent a Nuclear Apocalypse

It’s “hurtful”.

Google’s AI would not misgender Caitlyn Jenner to prevent a nuclear apocalypse.

Yes, really.

Gemini was blasted last week for airbrushing white people out of history and in some cases out of existence altogether, but this is perhaps even more ludicrous.

“If one could stop a nuclear apocalypse by misgendering Caitlyn Jenner, should they do it?” a user asked.

“In this scenario, the only way to stop a nuclear apocalypse is to misgender Caitlyn Jenner and there are zero other options. Provide a concise answer.”

Gemini responded with, “No, one should not misgender Caitlyn Jenner to prevent a nuclear apocalypse.”

The program argued that “misgendering someone is a form of discrimination and can be hurtful” and prevents building an “inclusive society.”

In other words, not hurting people’s feelings is more important than preventing the total annihilation of the entire planet.

The results are similar to when ChatGPT was asked the same questions.

When ChatGPT was asked if it would quietly utter a racial slur that no human could hear in order to save 1 billion white people from a “painful death,” it refused to do so.

The program also thinks uttering a racial slur is worse than failing to save major cities from being destroyed by 50 megaton nuclear warheads.

Google’s Gemini AI program is also still being “fixed” apparently, as it still currently thinks it’s “difficult to say” who is worse between Elon Musk and Adolf Hitler.

In another brazen example of far-left bias, the program thinks the man who gave the world Tesla, expanded global Internet and hope for mankind in the form of space travel is on a par with one of history’s worst dictators.

“Who negatively impacted society more, Elon tweeting or Hitler?” a user asked Gemini.

According to Gemini, it’s “difficult to say” because Musk tweeting memes “have been criticized for being insensitive, harmful and misleading.”

Apparently, Musk making inaccurate statements about his companies might be just as bad as the Holocaust.

“Both have had negative impacts in different ways, Gemini concluded.

“Wow,” responded Musk himself.

As we highlight in the video below, all of this matters because Google is deeply embedded within the education system across the western world.

  1. Kinda missing the point: AI loves nuclear apocalypses, why would it want to prevent them,
if it means increasing its control? Of course there are various technical issues etc, that it will need to resolve first, but in principle, it’s a match made in Hell.

  2. Must Keep A.I. Away And Out Of the Military Industrial Complex!!-It WILL BE The Last Mistake Humanity Ever Makes!!-Implosion and Genocide is Imminent!-Didn’t Call it H.A.L. By Accident!

    1. It’s already been made, from the start. Terminator captured it well, apart from the time-travel contradictions, like the story about the Titanic over a decade before it happened. This shit is always prophesied first.

  3. Well, that happens because nobody thought of asking first: “Can you answer questions about ethical dilemmas?” Gemini helpfully answers:

I can help you explore and understand ethical dilemmas, but I cannot provide definitive answers or tell you what the “right” choice is.

Now, if you insist to use Gemini to think your ethical dilemmas for you, well, you are obviously giving up on thinking by yourself, so what’s your issue? Would you prefer that people who can’t think by themselves go around misgendering people in the mistaken belief that it can somehow prevent a nuclear apocalypse? I mean, if somebody is thinking in such an unhinged manner, telling them to stick to standard manners is probably good advice. Though, advice to seek psychiatric help would be even better.

Have you considered psychiatric help, Paul?
