Nikki Haley faced more ridicule over a bizarre post on X in which she declared, “12 fellas down. 1 to go.”
Haley was obviously referring to the fact that everyone else apart from her and Trump have dropped out of the Republican race, but that didn’t really matter.
During a town hall, she put it this way: “I look at where we started, there were 14 candidates in the race,” Haley said. “We’ve defeated a dozen of fellas. I just have one more fellow to catch up to.”
But version she posted on X didn’t translate very well.
The reaction was swift, and hilarious.
The post was particularly ironic given the allegations about Haley cheating on her husband.
No doubt if Haley responds, she’ll whine about “misogyny” or something.
Haley has virtually no chance of beating Trump to the nomination, which makes her bold assertion even more weird.
As we previously highlighted, Haley failed to win the Nevada primary despite there being no other Republican candidates on the ticket.
Haley came in second place to “None of These Candidates,” losing by around 22,000 votes.
She couldn’t even beat literally nobody, never mind a single ‘fella’.
