Trump Calls For Mandatory Cognitive Tests For All Presidential Candidates

“I don’t think Nikki would pass the test.”

Donald Trump called for cognitive tests for anyone running for President to become mandatory during a Saturday rally, after a week where Joe Biden’s mental fitness was thrust even further into the spotlight.

Speaking in South Carolina, Trump stated “anybody running for President should have tests, and I pass them every time,” adding “I don’t think Nikki would pass the test.”

Trump further stated that “regardless of age,” all candidates for major offices, including Vice President also should be mentally tested.

“They say it’s not Constitutional, I’d be willing to wave it,” Trump urged, before going on to describe Haley as “the candidate of globalists and warmongers who want to spend trillions and trillions of dollars on endless wars.”

Trump went on to tell the crowd of thousands that if you asked Joe Biden what MAGA stands for “he would not be able to tell you,” because his “brain is not working too well.”

Watch:

Elsewhere during the speech, Trump asserted that “The real problem facing our country is not Joe Biden’s decline. The real problem is that Joe Biden is causing America’s decline.”

The comments come in the wake of a week replete with examples of Biden’s mental acuity failing him, prompting even the staunchest leftists and people within the Democratic Party to admit there is a problem.

It all culminated in a press encounter where Biden ended up angrily yelling at reporters for asking questions about the issue.

  1. The reason they’re even talking about making a cognitive test mandatory is because we have a patently dishonest media that won’t go against anything the democrats want. Now, the Democrats want Joe gone.

  2. I completely agree that the mental health of candidates is absolutely important, but it is unconstitutional and, frankly, immoral too: one doctor can decide if you aren’t allowed to vote for someone? What exactly is stopping opposition parties from weaponizing this against people they don’t like? Furthermore, how can we trust any medical professional to tell us the truth after the entire health industry’s meltdown during the covid hysteria?

Have to disagree with Trump on this overall. President Biden’s failing mental health should not be used to set a precedent of this nature.

  3. I’m protrump but 100% against this. The only requirements in the Constitution to become a president are that you be born on US Soil, be a US citizen, and be at least 35 years of age.

Anything else can be used by the opposition party to strike a candidate they didn’t like. Sorry, Trump. Just like following Fauci, you’re wrong on this one.
