Coomers are mad that the new Apple Vision Pro cannot be used to watch VR porn, although they are being re-assured that it will happen in “a few weeks”.
The dystopian VR headset which hit stores at the end of last week has people walking around the streets looking like they are on acid trips.
The device allows users to pin browser screens all over their field of vision, because apparently that’s not a nightmarish hellscape at all.
However, the technology is not yet compatible with watching VR porn, which is shot and viewable in 180 degrees, allowing a totally immersive degenerate experience where addicts can accelerate the shrinkage of their brains and the loss of any remaining dignity.
And they’re not pleased about it.
The top rated comment on one Reddit post said, “Worse than PSVR2. $3500 chastity belt [clown emojis],” while another user desperately asked, “Figured out porn on the Vision Pro? Dying to get this to work haha.”
Users can still watch ‘flat porn’ on normal browser screens, but VR porn cannot play on the Apple Vision Pro.
This must have disappointed another user, who the day before its release wrote, “An ode to my last night suffering with being able to see the space between the pixels on my Meta Quest 3 while trying to watch VR porn, breaking my otherwise pristine immersive experience. Tomorrow ushers in a new frontier of masturbatory technology. It could be a population growth turning point for humanity if it is good enough.”
However, Kotaku reports that it won’t be too long before “enterprising young men” figure out a workaround.
“So give it a few weeks, VR porn fans. Redditors have already reported some success in rejigging the advanced Safari settings on their Vision Pro, and, as 404 reports, one person “has been downloading WebXR clips and converting them into formats that can be played through the Vision Pro’s Files app and is sharing them on a dedicated Discord.” Though the videos are reportedly not that great (there are issues with the aspect ratio and with clips not feeling like a proper 180-degree fuckfest), VR porn beggars cannot be VR porn choosers.”
The notion of simply not watching porn because it’s incredibly damaging to both the people who produce and consume it as well as being a craven symptom of a sick society is seemingly not a consideration.

The same issue would exist if there were videos of cats playing with yarn. Article lacks focus on the real issue. Apple is blocking universal video formats. I dont care about porn & porn users.
