E. Jean Carroll told a laughing Rachel Maddow that she would use ‘Trump’s money’ to go shopping, buy new shoes and acquire a whole new wardrobe.
Last week, Trump was ordered to pay $83.3 million in a civil defamation trial for his comments regarding an alleged incident that he denies happened at a Bergdorf Goodman department store dressing room in Manhattan in the mid-90s.
Judge Kaplan prevented Trump or his attorneys from arguing that he didn’t sexually assault Carroll, an accusation for which no evidence was presented aside from Carroll’s claims.
Appearing on Rachel Maddow’s MSNBC show, Carroll was asked by the host if she would use some of “Trump’s money that you’re about to get to help shore up women’s rights.”
“First thing Rachel, you and I are gonna go shopping, we’re gonna get completely new wardrobes, new shoes…Rachel what do you like, Penthouse? It’s yours Rachel.”
Carroll’s lawyer nervously added, “That’s a joke,” as the women continued to cackle.
Respondents asked whether such behavior was indicative of a real sexual assault victim.
“I am a real rape victim and have never laughed about rape. I can’t even watch TV shows with rape scenes. She is a fraud,” said Tracy Ann.
Caroll’s lawsuit was funded by Democratic mega donor Reid Hoffman, the same man who is funding Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign.
However, Carroll won’t receive any money yet given Trump has chosen to appeal the ruling, with some speculating these comments won’t exactly help Caroll’s case.

She hasn’t even gotten the money yet and is already spent it in her mind. Giving some to “shore up women’s rights” is showing her political bias, not to mention a sure method to piss it away. Various agencies will gladly take her money and do nothing but talk big about how it will be used as the top brass in each organization siphon lots of it into their own bank accounts. I don’t know what they will actually use it on given women’s rights are already equal to men’s rights and in some cases superior. Probably give much of it to whatever politician who promises to get “Roe v Wade” enacted again. There is still a lengthy appeals process to get through in which this outrageous sum will be reduced quite a bit. Especially considering this whole trial is totally political in nature. People are using her for a political agenda the same way as similar people used the woman in the Roe v Wade fiasco. The lawyer(s) are using her for a huge payday. She is just money to them. And, of course dollar signs are flashing in her eyes as well. Clearly not justice, just money. Let her keep talking and she will show her true colors even more.
She should use it to buy some plastic surgery for her gruesome mug.
She’s just another money whore.
