Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley was trolled by a Trump supporter during a campaign event when he asked, “Will you marry me?”
The exchange occurred while Haley was giving a speech in New Hampshire ahead of the primary.
“Nikki! Will you marry me?” he shouted.
“Are you gonna vote for me?” she responded.
“I’m voting for Trump,” he shot back.
The atmosphere then suddenly dropped as the audience jeered.
“Oh. Get out of here!” said Haley, seemingly meaning it and not just in a dismissive jokey way.
While Haley may not be drawn on marriage proposals, she is seemingly very open minded when it comes to other offers from men.
Last week, the Daily Mail reported that the former South Carolina governor falsely denied cheating on her husband when she had in fact engaged in two extramarital affairs during her gubernatorial campaign.
“The supposed trysts were brazen and widely known among South Carolina politicos,” reports the newspaper.
Haley is still being ridiculed for playing the race card in claiming she was ‘teased every day for being brown’ in school, despite looking white.
