Elon Musk says he spoke to smart people who ‘can’t believe’ the insanity of the FAA hiring people with “severe intellectual” disabilities and psychiatric problems as part of its commitment to ‘diversity’.
The New York Post reported that the Federal Aviation Administration is targeting such individuals under its “Diversity and Inclusion”hiring plan, which claims “diversity is integral to achieving FAA’s mission of ensuring safe and efficient travel across our nation and beyond.”
“Targeted disabilities are those disabilities that the Federal government, as a matter of policy, has identified for special emphasis in recruitment and hiring,” the FAA’s website states. “They include hearing, vision, missing extremities, partial paralysis, complete paralysis, epilepsy, severe intellectual disability, psychiatric disability and dwarfism.”
“Just had a conversation with some smart people could not believe this is happening,” remarked the Tesla founder.
Musk also responded in the affirmative when another user remarked, “Imagine this in a medical setting, People could DIE due to DEI.”
Other conservative commentators were apoplectic at the ludicrousness of the new policy.
“Conservatives need to firmly grasp the fact that no level of absurdity or civilizational distinction will stop this revolution,” commented Auron Macintyre.
The drive for ‘diversity’ in the airline industry has come under fresh scrutiny after a plug door blew out in mid-air during an Alaska Airlines flight on January 5th.
